Chapter 13

Jayden slowly stood up while staring blankly at Stefan.

"Don't I deserve a hug, little brother and I heard Leonardo's

dead. Pity...such a weakling..?"

"Why should I when you're the one trying to kill my Queen."

"So hot-tempered. Tsk.. I am just supporting my queen.. the real

Queen.. who came exactly from the line of Royal Vampires."

"and does she have the power?"

"She may not have but she has all the right."

He alerted all his senses because

he knew, anytime, a war will start and only one of them will survive. Stefan

step forward while holding a silver knife. He grabbed his knife as well...

"You know you can never step up on me, Jayden."

Jayden grinned, "I had finally stepped up on you, Stefan.. You

haven't realized that, yes?"

"Oh.. I must have missed it.. when? How?" Stefan mockingly asked.

"That day when you feigned your death and turned your back from

your kin. That day when all the vampires depended on me."

"Such a responsible little vampire you are then. Well.. I am

busy training Neziah to be the queen. I even had it out fifty years ago but no

one believed. So I kept on training her until she's ready. But unfortunately..

before she even come out.. a news devastated her and makes her back out. A

cursed elite had survived. And that Cassandra has taken away Neziah's throne.

Pity.. I did everything to prevent her from being the queen.. even conniving

with that bastard hunters..But now.. we are back with a vengeance. where's your

queen? Taking a vacation in a country called the Philippines?"

"you will never find her.."

"really? Then why not make her come to me?"

"I'll kill you first," Jayden hissed.

"Try."

Jayden lunged forward...and Stefan

just move aside to avoid him.

Stefan laughed but stopped when Jayden attacked him again with

just a blink of an eye.

"You're provoking me, Jayden when I'm just here to give you a

very nice deal."

"I don't need to hear your stupid deal, Stefan."

Stefan had

pinned him against the wall but he's not fast enough to push the knife in his

heart. Jayden pulled himself away... kicking Stefan right in his lower part. He

grunted but it didn't stop him from stabbing Jayden. When they both got tired

trying to get at each other.. They both jump away to breath in. For a

second..they just stared at each other..

Death defines their eyes..

Demon becomes their friend..
