You sighed and climbed off of the train. It was the first day of your seventh year at Hogwarts. You were sad that you wouldn't be coming back next year. Of course, a certain pair of red heads wouldn't allow you to be sad all year. Fred and George Weasley, your best friends. They always went out of their way to make you smile, which they had been required to do so in your fourth year, when your parents had died. They had invited you to tsay with them over summer, which you had accepted.
"Ah, what horrible things are we going to do this year?" Came the voice of Fred. He draped an arm across your shoulders.
"I heard that we have a new professor, we could always mess with them," George suggests from next to you.
"Hi guys," you lightly laughed, "How were your summers?"
"They were okay," Fred said.
"Would have been better with you around," George finished.
"I already told you why I could't stay with you guys," you groaned.
"And it wasn't a very good reason," Fred objected.
"Yeah, we had a field that you could have trained in," George agreed.
"And you had Percy, who would have ratted me out to the Ministry in a second if he found out," you said, turning around to face them.
"Well, I guess that makes your reasoning a bit better," Fred commented.
"Anyways, how's Ron, Harry, and Hermione?" You asked as you continued up to the castle. Apart from the twins, the trio were your only other friends.
"Harry's doing well, Ron's still Ron, and we don't really know about Hermione," George answered.
"Are you going to tell them this year?" Fred questioned.
"I was thinking about it, yeah," you answered.

You had taken your seat next to the twins and across from the trio in the Great Hall, the new teacher had given a speech, you knew you were going to hate her.
"Why didn't you come over this summer?" Ron asked as he ate part of a roll.
"Uh, I just, uh," you stuttered.
"She was visiting her sick cousin who lives in Germany," George covered.
"Apparently she caught this disease that makes her limbs slowly fall off," Fred finished.
"Sounds pretty bad," Ron said. Harry and Hermione didn't look all that convinced.
"Yeah," you agreed, "Really bad."
Hermione and Harry didn't vocalize their disbelief, which you were thankful for. You finished your meal and headed off to the Common Room.
"Thanks for the save, wasn't all that believable," you sighed as you ascended the stairs.
"What? It was a spur of the moment thing," Fred shrugged.
You continued talking to them as you entered the Common Room. You sat on the couch between the twins, talking about pranks that would be hilarious. Harry, Ron, and Hermione entered the room and sat around you and the twins.
"So, (Y/N), how was Germany?" Hermione asked, smirking slightly.
"You know, German," you said, "Full of Germans and, uh, stuff?"
"That was so unbelievable it hurt," George sighed.
"What? You didn't go to Germany?" Ron asked in astonishment. Hermione rolled her eyes and sighed.
