Thomas' POV

After a few more minutes of flying, the shuttle had finally arrived at Beacon. Me, Ruby, and Yang walked out of the shuttle and passed the kid who threw up before, and was now puking into a trash can. As we walked closer to Beacon I was amazed about how big and beautiful the school was.

Yang: The view from Vale's got nothing on this!

Thomas: Definitely, this place looks incredible!

A few students walked by with their weapons out and Ruby started going nuts over how cool their weapons were. Yang grabbed a hold of her sister trying to get her to calm down.

Yang: Easy there, little sister. They're just weapons.

Ruby: Just weapons? They're an extension of ourselves! They're part of us! They're so cool!

Thomas: Come on Ruby, weapons can't be that cool. I don't even use one, remember?

Ruby: Yes, I remember Thomas, and don't get me wrong it's super cool that you're that strong. But I just love weapons so much.

Yang: Well why can't you swoon over your own weapon? Aren't you happy with it?

Thomas: What is your weapon anyways?

Ruby then pull out a small metallic object which unfolded into a massive red scythe.

Ruby: This is my weapon, Cresent Rose, and to answer Yangs question, of course I'm happy with it. I just really like seeing new ones. It's like meeting new people. But better.

Yang then pulled Ruby's hood over her head.

Yang: Ruby, come on, why don't you go try and make some friends of your own?

Thomas: Excuse me?

Yang: Besides Thomas, no offense.

Thomas: Thanks you.

Ruby: But why would I need friends when I have you two?

Suddenly a group of people formed behind Yang.

Yang: Well... Actually, my friends are here. Gotta go catch up. 'Kay, c'ya, bye.

After saying this she ran off with her friends and left me and Ruby behind.

Ruby: Wait! Where are you going? Are we supposed to go to our dorms? Where are our dorms? ...Do we have dorms? I don't know what I'm doing...

Ruby sighed and fell backwards onto a bunch of cases with an all too familiar logo on them, the Schnee Dust Company logo. Back when I was training with my dad, he took me on one of his missions for a more hands-on experience. It was on this mission I had the misfortune of meeting Winter Schnee, she's a high ranking member of the Atlas military. She had told me of her little sister Weiss Schnee, but I didn't expect to meet her at Beacon. Weiss had pale skin with pale blue eyes and long white hair pulled back into an off-center bun tail on the right side and pinned with an icicle shaped tiara. A crooked scar runs vertically down her left eye. She wore a thigh-length strapless dress with a faint color gradation from white to pale blue at the hem. A small piece of black lace sits in the front of her neckline and the hem of the dress is scalloped and stitched to resemble snowflakes, with layers of white tulle under the skirt. Over this she wore a bell sleeved bolero with the same color gradation as her dress from shoulder to wrist, lined in red and with a ruffled collar. On the back of the bolero is the Schnee Crest. She also wore a small apple pendant on a silver chain and thin, rectangular silver earrings. Her boots are white, wedged heeled and higher at the back than the front. They have a small silver decoration across the top of the foot and are lined in red. A thin white sash is tied around her waist with a pouch attached to the back.
