she had done too much;thoughts plaguing her mind,
convincing her she was no more
than a burdenshe had gotten heavier
and heavier,
and heavier
glued to the ground with
no strength of prevailfell through the cracks of one's mind
to find oneself in the murky waters
of their own despairshe sunk like a damaged boat;
plundering down, she gaspedheld on because she didn't want
to be weighed down by her thoughts
that conquered herputting up a strong fight, she let go,
weakening as water invaded her body
hungrily;it filled her up like a saggy tire
