2 part of our new riverdale mystery , no one knew who is the rightful owner  of the ribbon but the police began to investigate the dried blood stains were sent to the lab the sherrif finally got the call he was waiting for with the results 

master of the laboratory : "Do you remember the getaway car with which Jason blossom wanted to escape  and the later went in flames? "

sheriff : "of course i do remember it how could i forget about it?" 

master of the laboratory : "so hold on because i found a shoes in that car obviously they are not in the best condition and then i found some hair and i can only say and confirm they are long and red.. and the shoes are belonging to a woman"

sheriff :" but if polly cooper never made it to the car so who gave the shoes up there and what the results of the ribbon?

master of the laboratory :" you got some good catches but you are the ones to solve thus case not me and i will send you the results tomorrow"

sheriff was sitting in the dining room with a whiskey he was still thinking about the car , that hair and jason blossom.. a few moments later he got up because he realized that this case and jason blossom's case had something to do with each other.. sheriff later goes through cases of people that disappeared in the last few months because about 99 other children/ adolescents at the same time as jason but only one was not yet found and it was CARTER PETERSON 

he deep  down knew that this day would come the moments when he has to face the truth , he in fact ruined the case since the beginning he closed it after a week because the girl was last seen on 2 june they did not have any tracks of her expect for the night whe she had just disappeared ,at the celebrations of the independence day that she made two days ahead to probably have some time to run away without no trace she presumably left the celebration in time when everyone was focused on the fireworks..  he knew that this mistake would destroy his reputation and most impostantly his career , he feared the day that Name - : C-A-R-T-E-R - sounds in his head all the time 

he sips from his glass when his inner voice tells him :"maybe she is already dead or out of the states - beyond the borders - just GONE, " he finds the jason blossom murder board he is holding a card with a Carter's name and a red string he puts the name next to jason's with a big red question marks now he regrets that he did not find out more about her (and not just the oversight that everyone already knows) and that he did not write notes ..

sheriff to penelope and clifford : "once a year 99 out of 100 children/adolescents get lost"

penelope :"you said that 99 kids will get lost anually so where's the 100 the last one

end of flashback ***

"fragments of the past , that's how i could describe carter peterson or more specifically shadow of past " jughead writes in his notebook "i will describe you carter in my own words long dark red , green cat eyes , a captain cheerleader of wild trickers a  the only female football player number one a captain of soccer team , waitress at pop's , she is working at local clubs , she used to work at perfumery and at cinema , she helps in every company her family owns, the Peterson family is the second founding family of riverdale and the last and the third are the Alcott's"
