Chapter 52: Become A Hero

"(Y/n) slow down would ya?!" Ochaco said as she saw you run up the stairs quickly to see Todoroki and midoriyas fight.

"Sorry sorry! But... Todo is about to fight!" You shouted, still walking up the stairs quickly.
Ochaco shaked her head in defeat and followed you.

"Hey (y/n), Uraraka!" Denki shouted as he waved at you two.
You two came and quickly sat down.
Ochaco sat next to tokoyami and you sat next to her in the front seat.

"Did we miss anything yet?" Ochaco said.

"Nope the fight is about to start!"

"WELCOME TO THE START OF THE 2ND ROUND! FIRST UP WE HAVE MIDORIYA!!!" Present mic shouted as the crowd shouted wildly.

"VERSES... TODOROKI!!!!!"

The whole stadium boomed with cheers as the two fighters stared at each other in determination.

You looked over to Todoroki who's expression was stone cold.

'Do your best todo...'

"BEGIN!!!"

Todoroki's first move was shooting ice underneath his feet. The ice travelled quickly towards Midoriya making your heart beat faster and faster.

Midoriya shouted and by a flick of his finger he broke the ice Todoroki made making Midoriya also break his own finger in the process.

"Crap this is going down for real!" Ochaco said nervously as she saw the two fight.
Todoroki repeated his first move making Midoriya break another finger of his.
Todoroki's Ice splattered everywhere and you felt the cold breeze hit the stadium.

"Midoriya is gonna get seriously injured! His quirk is literally making his bones break..." you nervously said.

You heard foot steps come up.
You turned your head  to see your friend Kirishima quickly come up.

"Crap! I'm missing the fight!"

You smiled at his goofiness and lifted your hand up and you put a thumbs up to him.

"Kiri! Congrats on getting to the second round!" You said sweetly making him smile at you.

"Thanks you too! It looks like I'm fighting Bakugou next!" He said excitedly and Bakugou sat there arms crossed and a scary expression on his face.

"I'll kill you."

'How... sweet.' You thought as you watched the two boys and other people started to speak together.

Your attention was taken by another loud scream and ice breaking again.
Todoroki made another ice slide and started to run across it.
Midoriya broke it and Todoroki jumped and froze midoriyas leg in the process as he jumped up as well.

Midoriya quickly used his quirk to flick the ice making him break his other finger again.
It was so powerful wind blew and pushed Todoroki back.

The cold breeze blew across the stadium making your hair flow and shivers went down your spine.

"Come on Todo..." You said softly to yourself.
You couldn't hear what they were talking about but you hoped Midoriya was encouraging him.

Everyone watched intensely.
Midoriya looked up and shouted that everyone was able to hear.

"COME AT ME WITH EVERYTHING YOU GOT."

You watched at how Todoroki got fully punched in the stomach by Midoriya making you gasp.

You stood up quickly and went to the railing bars and held the rail tightly as you watched how Todoroki was able to freeze midoriya's arm and Todoroki fell across the floor.

'Ow that's gotta hurt.' You thought as you saw Midoriya wince in pain due to the cold ice on his arm.

Todoroki sat up and spat as he breathed heavily and looked ahead.
Midoriya and Todoroki went on with the battle.

Midoriya's fingers were so injured. Todoroki had ice shards all over his right side.
You were getting nervous. These two boys were going to hurt themselves badly.

Midoriya did another flick of his finger blowing Todoroki away. Todoroki stopped himself by making an ice block to stop him getting out the ring.

They both stood apart from each other.
You could faintly hear what they were saying to each other.

"Why are you dong this?" Todoroki said as he stood up straight.

"I wanna live up to people's expectations, I'll take anything that can make me a hero!" Midoriya shouted loudly to Todoroki as he ran foward.
Midoriyas words get deep to you.

Todoroki was unfazed And was then lost in his own thoughts making you worry.

Todoroki wasn't focusing and he got punched in the stomach again making him go backwards.

Todoroki was still standing but was getting weaker by the second.

"YOU SHOULD BE GIVING YOUR ALL LIKE YOU SHOULD BE." Midoriya suddenly shouted.

You couldn't hear what they were saying next as they spoke soflty , only for them to hear but you knew Todoroki told Midoriya his goals.

'That's what he was doing when I couldn't find him...'

Todoroki again was punched in the stomach making his back now fall to the ground.

You gasped as you saw the powerful punch come into contact with Todoroki.

'No todo you can't give up!'

As Todorokis back hit the ground your heart twisted at the sight.
He looked powerless and lost in his own world.

You didn't know what came over you when you saw Todoroki now struggle to get up. He was breathing heavy. You leaned over and shouted.

"SHOUTO YOU CAN DO IT, DONT GIVE UP. USE YOUR OWN POWER TO WIN THIS." You randomly shouted loudly and you felt your lungs were about to pop.

Todoroki definitely heard that making him look up with wide eyes to you.
He saw how you held the rail tightly.
He saw how you Eyes were teary and wide.

"SHES RIGHT, ITS YOUR POWER NOT HIS." Midoriya shouted. Todoroki's Eyes went wide as he now shifted his head over to Midoriya.

Todorokis flame then shot out of his left side out of control.
You were so close the flame that it made you sweat. The flame of his was so close.

'Woah...'
You watched as Todoroki held his flame making it grow bigger and bigger.

It looked like it was his first time in a while testing his fire side.

You smiled happily as you saw him looked determined.
Todoroki stood upon Midoriya and gave the biggest smirk ever as his flames grew hotter.

"I... will become a hero!"
