Nothing ended after Gerard's demise, which Indi really should've seen coming. While the effort is no longer quick- fueled by the Anukite, and the numbers are significantly smaller, Tamora Monroe has gathered enough followers to continue her goals.

Extinction of the supernatural race.

Scott McCall and Indi Dunbar, the Alpha Pair, the true alpha and his alpha mate, stronger than any other werewolf, are volunteered and trust into the rolls of becoming the leaders and protectors of the supernatural race, a huge responsibility.

Their original plans to go to college and live normal, relaxing lives are cut short, replaced with battle, strategy, politics, and all things war.

To say it's a difficulty is an understatement.
