Losing their baby changed them, and after finally getting her released from the psychiatric facility, Joshua realizes exactly how much. Raquel almost scares him, she's basically a whole nother woman he's falling in love with. But maybe it's not love, maybe it's just the volatile combination of hope and adrenaline from finding out somebody took their daughter alive all those years back and starting to hunt them down.
Their best lead yet is a young woman who claims she saw their baby girl, she's a top researcher with this off-the-books government project. Naomi fought to not have to care about the lack of respect and trust her people have for her, she was always there for the science. But then they couldn't do the real work without her mind anymore so after being given a higher security, she wakes up to what they're really doing and she can not stay loyal to them any longer. Being disloyal and helping these children is just as hard; a member of the security team is just On her -- he might be the head of security, he might've been tailing her and suspicious before she even decided to turn against the DOE, she doesn't know she barely ever paid them any attention now she has to though.
LITTLE EXTRA : Since the DOE's running all these child experiments outside the law, Raquel and Joshua don't really have a problem working outside it too to get to them for anybody hung up on that
Raquel's kinda mix between Jenny Mills and Sarah Connor -- y3ni I mean she barely survived that asylum
The GIFs stay reminding me -- you can start the story a few years before the show starts or just by S1 -- the story most likely don't start in Indiana in 1984 so you decide on the timeline and setting and everything
Naomi and Naomi and Lorenzo's timeline especially is changeable
If you're not liking Adam as Lorenzo, then there's always Tom Hiddleston (who I never fangirled over but then again til recently I didn't love Adam neither)
