To one it can mean nothing
To another it can mean the world
It can mean have a good night's rest
It can mean leave me alone
It can be sweet
It can be harmful
It is not the word it is the speaker
We do not think
We act
We don't think others have feelings
We feel only for ourselves
Even then we disregard ourselves
Goodnight can make someone's day
Goodnight can break someone's heart
Goodnight is a word with meaning
It can be a day
It can be forever
Goodnight my friend
Goodnight my hater
