Narrator's POV
Harry took a deep breath, making his choice, "Both."
"What?!" Diary and Locket exclaimed simultaneously
"I-I can't choose between you both." Harry explained
"Why not?" Ring asked, suprised
"They're kinda opposites yet identical, it's impossible to choose which I want." Harry stuttered
Ring rolled his eyes while Diary asked, "How would it work?"
"I was hoping it would be the three of us: together." Harry said, before going into detail, "I was thinking like Diary is good at understanding things and being emotionally supportive and Locket is wise and powerful like a warrior."
"So a polygamous relationship." Ring summarized for Harry, "So Locket, get your ass over here and let's merge."
Locket began to walk to be closer to Ring when Ring said, "Locket's still going to need more soul to even catch up with Diary and even more for either of them to get solid."
"I know, Ring." Harry said, as Ring and Locket began to merge, Ring slowly fading away until he completely disappeared
Locket now looked more solid, but like Diary, was still invisible to Draco, who was watching from the other side of the room.
"I guess I can be Tom again." Diary said
"If he's Tom, then I'll be Marvolo." Locket said
The triad then moved to the unoccupied bed that was close to the window and Harry asked, "How's this?"
"It's acceptable." Marvolo answered, as Draco left them to go shower in the room's conjoined bathroom
"Which means you don't really like it? Let me guess you don't like it either, Tom?" Harry sadly said
"It's ok." Tom said
Harry began to softly cry, facing the ceiling, why couldn't he do anything right?
He was suppose to choose one person to love but he chose both and neither of them were happy.
Neither Tom nor Marvolo liked seeing Harry crying, so they made a silent agreement as Marvolo began to strip Harry and Tom went to lock the bathroom door with parselmagic, locking Draco in the bathroom.
