Can we just pretend everything is okay?
Because if we do it now,
You'll forget there was ever a problem.
You won't see that my smile is more forced
That my eyes are dull,
My cheeks are thin.
But if we pretend everything is okay,
Then you won't notice these things.
And if you don't notice, then I can face away.
Fade into the grey that describes my life.
