He who walks alone

It is a very lonely road.

For he who walks alone.

The road is sadness and death.

The road is wanton feelings of blithe.

Withering, spiteful balls of words are the pebbles.

The road seems compact, an endless place waiting to be tread;

The future.

Lively with guilt,

He walks alone.

Stumbling and jumping,

Wishing he could turn back.

He who walks alone.

Tricked into running down the road;

Told it was Memory Lane.

He who walks alone.

He does not have memories.

Does not have a soul.

Pebbles kick up in his face,

And shining plants die beneath his feet.

He stomps vehemently, wishing for a way out.

His feet cannot stop.

This is Him.

This is his fate;

Damned to walk through Hell.

He who walks alone.

P.S. I totally just realized there is a song called 'He Who Walks Alone' by the band Orchid.  Lol.  I'll put it up for y'all, but be warned, I've never listened to it; so I have no idea what it sounds like.
