Chapter 10. First date

1925 hours
Yokosuka Naval Station

Nervous was something Commander (L/N) never thought of himself as. Ask any of his superiors and fellow classmates from the academy he was described as cool, calm, collected, and confident. But the battle he was about to undertake was something he was not used to. Something he had never done before. A Date with his new girlfriend. He didn't want to stand out tonight so he wore this outfit.

(No sunglasses)

You took a deep breath as you walked out your office door and proceeded to meet your date outside. On your way you passed by everyone and they all wished him good luck, told him to relax, and said to have fun.

(Y/N)'s POV

I stepped outside to see her and and I felt time stop when I looked at her

I couldn't help but stare at her. She was more than cute. She was down right beautiful.

Ushio: P-please don't stare. It's embarrassing.

(Y/N): I'm sorry. I couldn't help it you're just so beautiful.

She turned a heavy shade of red but still smiled for him as they both left for the town.

Ushio: Ummmm (Y/N)?

(Y/N): Yes?

Ushio: M-may I hold your hand?

I just smiled as opened my hand for her. She slowly put her hand in mine and interlocked her fingers with mine. We both smiled as we continued to walk.

Ushio: So where are we going?

(Y/N): Well I called in a favor from a friend of mine and I think you'll like it.

After some walking we reached a beach where there was a table set up with candles.

Ushio: What's this?

(Y/N): My favor.

???: Baby Brother!!!!!!!!!!

(Y/N): Here we go

The two look at a woman in a chefs outfit as she waves them over to the table

(Y/N): Hey sis

Ushio: Sis?

(Y/N): Ushio this is my big sister Maray.

Maray: Oh look at her she is just adorable. You two make a cute couple.

The two blushed heavily.

(Y/N): Yeah ok sis we get it. And I'm not a baby anymore

Maray: But you'll always be my baby brother

I just sighed in defeat

Maray: Now if the two of you will take your seats we'll get started.

I went over and pulled out the chair as Ushio sat down I pushed her forward then sat down.

(Y/N): I called in a favor with my sis and she couldn't resist.

Ushio: You did all of this?

(Y/N): For us Ushio

I reach my hand over and held on to her and she smiled brightly then my sis brought out our dinner.

Maray: Today we have Lobster Spaghetti which comes from Amoudi Bay in Santorini with white wine.

Ushio: Thank you very much

(Y/N): Thanks sis

Maray: Enjoy you two.

She winked at me and left us to our food. We both took a bite out of it and it was amazing. I had forgotten how good my sisters cooking was, but this tasted like she pulled out all the stops for us. After dinner we both stood out in the beach looking at the sunset. This moment was too perfect. I held her hand I looked into her eyes.

(Y/N): I love you Ushio.

She looked at me with an almost shocked expression. By them smiled back at me.

Ushio: I love you too.

We both kissed happily on the beach there everything was perfect until I heard a snap. I looked and saw my sister had taken a picture of this.

Maray: oppsies.

(Y/N): sis. Give. Me. The. Camera.

Maray: hmmmm. No

She took off running and I ran after her leaving Ushio standing there giggling at the scene.

Put away your torches and pitchforks I'm back. Sorry I was away. Work tends to drain all life out of me. I'm trying to take classes and my emotional and mental states haven't been exactly in tip top shape lately. I'm gonna try to to better I promise.
