Not long after telling the family to keep their thoughts hidden Edward arrived. He sat on the couch and Emmett walked by him and said "isn't it funny how moms pregnant." Edward nodded before realizing what he had heard. "Really" he asked with a bright smile racing toward me. I chuckled and nodded still smiling. He logged me into the air in his arms and held me tightly.

Small time skip

After everything had calmed down it was now almost three in the afternoon. "Can we go shopping pretty please mama" Alice asked me. I sighed and nodded. "You should put on something tighter so I can see my baby" Carlisle whispered as he stood behind me. "But I don't wanna feel fat" I whined. He chuckled and gave me puppy dog eyes. I sighed giving in and went up the stairs to change. Rosalie and Alice were soon up with me attempting to convince me to wear something other than a dress for once to which I reluctantly agreed. Rosalie brought one of her outfits for me since I only owned dresses. Since rosalie was a little larger than me it didn't show my bump too much but it was still obvious. She brought maroon colored pants, a soft sweater, a scarf, gold earrings, brown boots, and a simple bag.

When I walked down the steps everyone was surprised I wants wearing a dress or high heels. Frankly pants and boots were more comfortable to me. Carlisle came towards me and began rubbing my belly. "Hey baby" he said smiling down. "We gotta gooo" Alice said tugging my arm. I sighed and kissed Carlisle quickly and then we were off.

At the mall

As we began walking my hand subconcioisly went to my belly. Soon we stopped at a baby store and got a few unisex outfits along with pacifiers, stuffies, and blankets.

hen we got home I was quite tired even though I was a vampire. I quickly got into something more comfortable and cuddled up to Carlisle as he lay in bed reading. He had just informed me the he took off of work for the day but would have to go back tomorrow. The rest of the night was spent relaxing with the family and watching different films.

The next day

The children were already at school and Carlisle was at work so I had nothing to do but speak with my baby. "Hello little one, mommy hopes your doing ok in there" I said as I rubbed my belly. I then began to sing for my child.

Somebody's gotta wear a pretty skirt
Somebody's gotta be the one to flirt
Somebody's gotta wanna hold his hand
So God made girls

Somebody's gotta make him get dressed up
Give him a reason to wash that truck
Somebody's gotta teach him how to dance
So God made girls

He needed something soft and loud
And sweet and proud
But tough enough to break a heart
Something beautiful, unbreakable
That lights up in the dark

So God made girls, God made girls
He stood back and told the boys, "I'm 'bout to rock your world."
And God made girls for singing in your front seat
God made girls for dancin' to their own beat
He stood back and told the boys, "I'm 'bout to rock your world."
Then God made girls

Somebody's gotta be the one to cry
Somebody's gotta let him drive
Give him a reason to hold that door
So God made girls

Somebody's gotta put up a fight
Make him wait on a Saturday night
To walk downstairs and blow his mind
So God made girls

Something that can wake him up
And call his bluff
And drag his butt to church
Something that is hard to handle
Somethin' fragile
To hold him when he hurts

So God made girls, God made girls
He stood back and told the boys, "I'm 'bout to rock your world."
And God made girls for singin' in your front seat
God made girls for dancin' to their own beat
He stood back and told the boys, "I'm 'bout to rock your world."

Somebody's gotta wear a pretty skirt
Somebody's gotta be the one to flirt
And God made girls, yeah
Somebody's gotta wanna hold his hand

So God made girls

Of course I didn't know I was having a girl but I was quite sure. I decided to visit Carlisle at work and them visit the children at the orphanage. I got dressed in a cute and simple outfit and then was on my way.

When I arrived I got out and it began to rain. I walked into the hospital and it was the same receptionist as the first time I visited. "What do you want" she asked seemingly disgusted as she looked me up and down. "I'm here to see my husband" I told her placing my hand over my bump. "Oh doctor Cullen finally left you and you got with a different doctor, slut" she assumed cockily. "Oh no honey haven't you heard, Carlisle and I are married, and I'm having his child" I replied turning to the side so my bump was more noticable. She gasped and angrily got up leading me to his office. "Hello love" he said with a smile as he saw me. The receptionist rolled her eyes then walked off. I said hello to him as he pulled me into his embrace kissing my forehead.

I spent the rest of the day at work with him and we went home together.
