My heart is racing and my palms are sweaty. I scoot closer to the car door just in case I go with my plan and roll out of a moving car. So many thoughts are going on through my head. Is he going to fire me? Attack me? Or worse kill me? To be honest I don't know what's going to happen. Especially not after what happened in the office.

I look at him and he's just sitting there still as a statue. A very fine statue I might add. He's sitting on the opposite side of the limo which means he moved when I was flipping Royce off. I stare at his face and notice again that his eyes turn a bright but dark red then goes away. I shake my head thinking I'm seeing things. I mean I'm sure he's pissed at me but that doesn't make a man eyes turn red. However in this case I could believe his would.

It's quiet in the car and I'm hoping it stays that way. He's glaring at me and I'm glaring at him. The only thing we can hear is the sound of the rain hitting the roof of the car. Tired of the quietness I decided to speak first.

"What do you want with me huh? You choke me then get mad that I ran from you and now you've forced me into your car like I'm your child. Who do you think you are?"

Silence

"Ohhh so now you're just going to ignore me? Silence again.

The driver speaks to Lamar to let him know we're two minuets away from our destination.

Destination? I've been so caught up on thinking of ways to escape and trying to figure out what's going on and completely forgot to pay attention to where he was taking me. I quickly lean over to look out the window to my right. To my dismay all I see are trees which means we're in the woods somewhere. Why would he bring me out to the woods. Well he did try to coke m which means...

"Are you trying to kill me?"
I look at him straight on and noticed that he was on his phone typing something. He stops when he hears my question and lifts his head up so his eyes can meet with mines.

He laughs saying, "No".

I let out a breath of air I was holding in surprised that he answered, but also happy to hear that he's not going to murder me.

He stops laughing and starts to fix the collar on his suite jacket," well not today at least."

My eyes grow big at the sound of that which then sends him barreling over with laughter.

I cross my arms and glare at him saying," This is not not something to joke about. You are kidnapping me and you brought me to the middle of nowhere! What else am I supposed to think?"

He sits up in his seat running his right hand through his hair out of frustration. "First off I did no kidnap you.  Secondly you need to calm down because you're overreacting. You were the one that decided to runaway. Therefore you were deemed an employee of mines that ran away and I just simply retrieved what's mines."

I roll my eyes out of frustration to him using the term mines as if I was property. Normally I would object but I'm just to tired right now to fight with him anymore. I need to find a way to get away from him and soon. Once we get to our destination I'll just order an Uber to go home. Then I'm calling the police on him.

My thoughts are interrupted when the limo comes to a stop. Mr. Pierce gets out first and turns offering his hand to me. I slap his hand out the way. To my dismay he doesn't like that so he decides to grab my hand anyway forcing me out of the car.

I stumble a little but catch my balance in the end. I look up at him and he's smirking at me clearing enjoying seeing me struggle.

He lets go of my hand walks in front of me with his arm wide open and says, " Welcome to my estate Miss. Bryce. I hope you enjoy your stay here."

I look behind him and am to shocked to say anything. This is his house? It's huge! I'm standing on a huge brick roundabout that can fit at lease ten cars in front of it. It also has a waterfall right in the middle of it pouring out clear blue streams of water. I turn and face his house. It's really remarkable and its very modern with huge windows all around the house. The outside color is white and very clean. I smile happy for moment to see such a beautiful house, but then quickly remember him saying something about me staying here.

I turn to him as he begins to walk to his front door.
"What do you mean you hope I enjoy staying here? I have my own house remember you broke my door."

" Yes I remember. I also remember fixing it the the same day, but that's besides the point. I can't trust you to live on your own anymore. What if you decide to run off like you did earlier today?"

I cross my arms and glare at him.
"That's only because you attacked me, then wanted me to get into your car so you can kill me!"

He laughs at my statement clearly enjoying the frustrated look I have on my face.

" Trust me if I wanted you dead I wouldn't do it myself. You're not that important."

I roll my eyes clearly exhausted at this conversation.
"Look I'm not going to run off. I just don't won't to work for you anymore."

" Not an option, you've seen to much and I can't have you running around living life knowing what you know." He squints his eyes at me as if he's observing me. He's right and wrong when it comes to that statement. I don't really know what it is he believes I know, but I do have a hunch about him. It's happened in front of me plenty of times. His random appearances, strength, and his eyes....

He's not human.
