"I...I promise." Edward sighs in defeat.
"No! I won't let him do this to you Bella." Jacob growls ferociously.
"We don't have any other options Jacob! Unless you can turn me into a werewolf?"
For a minute Jacob stands there stunned. His eyes look up at the sky as if truly contemplating if a werewolf bite would change me.
"N...no. I don't have that ability." He says after further thought.
"Exactly. Edward-let's go."

"Bella, are you absolutely sure this is what you want?" Mr.Cullen asks me.
The entire Cullen family is gathered in the living room. They all seem tense. Jasper especially. He won't even look me in the eye.
"Yes. I'm sure. This is the only way."
"Okay. Edward-will you do the honors-,"
"Are you serious Carlisle?" Rosalie shouts in frustration. "Your actually going to allow this?"
"What other choice do we have." He sighs.
"We have PLENTY of other choices! This is not the answer!"
"It's Bella's choice."
"Bella is an incompetent human who doesn't understand the full consequences of becoming a vampire!"
"Don't call her incompetent!" Edward barks at her.
Suddenly the entire family is at each other's throats. Everyone is yelling over the decision. At this rate I'll never be bitten!
I go to lean against the nearby end table. I place my hand on top of the wooden surface but pull back when I feel a sharp prick. Shoot! It gave me a splinter!
Suddenly the arguing stops. Everyone has noticed my now bleeding finger. A look of hunger floods Jasper's eyes.
"Jasper no!" Alice leaps towards him but it's too late. He already has taken hold of my torso. It won't be long now.
"Ouch!" The bite is so powerful it makes me scream with pain. I'm beginning to see stars as Jasper begins to suck my blood.
"Nooo!" Edward rips his brother off of my now limp body. Carlisle catches me before I hit the floor. The last thing I see before blacking out is Edward punching the crap out of Jasper.
I manage to crack a small smile before slipping into an oblivion.
