When I pull up to the house I notice another truck is in the driveway.

I didn't know we were having visitors.

"Hey dad I'm home!" I shout as I enter the house.

"Bella! Come to the living room, there's someone I want you to meet!"

I walk in to see my dad, a man in a wheelchair and a teenage boy who seems about my age. He would be better looking if he pulled back his long hair.

"Bella this is my friend Billy Black and his is his son, Jacob Black."

"Nice to meet you." I mumble.

"So how was uh-school?" My dad asks, I know he's only half listening since his eyes are glued to the tv screen.

"It was great."

"Uh-huh."

"I showed the science teacher my boobs."

"Uh-huh."

"Then I ditched P.E to make out with this kid in the back of his truck."

"Thats great honey."

I roll my eyes. Whatever.

"Hey Jacob, why don't you show Bella around Forks. She hasn't seen much."Suggests Billy

"Oh uh, sure!"

I follow Jacob outside.

"Did you...did you really show your-,"

"Of course not." My face burns.

Jacob throws back his head and laughs. "Your dad must really love watching baseball."

"Sometimes one would think baseball was his first born instead of me." I chuckle. "So what is it your gonna show me? I've already seen that ratty restaurant on Main Street. And the church, the gas station, that one hippie shop. I'm guessing there isn't much else to see around here?"

"You may have seen all the main parts but there's still one great place I bet you haven't abeen."

•1 hour later...•

The reserve was by far the prettiest thing in Forks. My mouth flopped open at the site of the beautiful lakes, tall trees and waterfall.

"This is incredible!" I gasp.

"Not too many people know about this place. Even if they did know I doubt they would come here."

"What? Why not?"

"This is part of the reservation. Not too many people come over here."

"Oh." At first we sit in silence. I close my eyes and take in the rare source of vitamin D, something most residents of Forks are deprived of.

Even though the sun is shinning it's still very chilly. I can feel the goosebumps forming on my arms.

Jacob takes notice of this. "Are you cold?"

"Just a little." I shiver.

"Here," Jacob proceeds to take off his shirt-exposing his beautiful tan skin and rock hard abs.

"Oh...oh." I'm left speechless as I take his shirt and wrap it around my shoulders. "Aren't you cold?" I ask.

"Nah. I run hot."

"You are hot." I mutter.

"What?"

"Nothing! I didn't say anything." My face burns.
