Edward stared at me expectantly.

"Edward, I think I like you."
"You think?"
"I know I like you."
Silence.
"Edward? Are you...are you laughing at me?"
Edwards shoulders were bouncing up and down as he laughed hunched over. His laugh grew even louder as he then threw his head back, clutching his stomach.
"So this is funny to you? Fine." I crossed my arms and slid off the back of the car. Tears formed a thin layer over my eyes, making it hard to see.
"Wait! Bella no! I'm not laughing at you I'm just...I like you too."
"What?"
"I like you Bella. I was just laughing because I already knew you liked me,"
"What?!"
"- and the way you pulled me aside it seemed like you had something serious to say but then you told me something I already knew-,"
"WHO TOLD YOU?"
"Alice."

"Relax Bella, I can read minds remember? I knew what she knew as soon as you told her."

"Yeah, I thought you knew."

"Oh. Well....I can."
"Wait so- you've been hearing what I've been thinking this entire time?"

I didn't wait for him to finish. My new vampire instincts kicked in and I took off running. I scaled cliffs and burst through trees. I was going at lightening speed trying to out run my embarrassment.
This entire time he could hear my thoughts about him. About my family, school,...Jacob...this is so embarrassing!!!!
My bloodless heart roared in my ears as I somehow picked up speed.
How can I ever face him again? I can't. He knows too much.
"Bella! Bella stop!" I heard Edward calling after me.
I continued to run fast into the night.
