I Can't Take Him Out.
I was transferred into a bigger room, with two big windows. I could now stare openly at the sky, without having to crane my neck.
Seungcheol visits me everyday, occasionally bringing some of my old friends with him. I had so much fun with them and I can't wait to live like how I used to again. I felt more connected to the world, where I used to be living in.
“Mingyu! You'll be out in three days time! Mum and Dad are so excited they already had your room cleaned!” Seungcheol told me cheerfully, a wide smile plastered on his face.
I smiled.
“Can't wait.” I told him.
“And oh, Jihoon will be coming here later. We have a date.” Seungcheol smiled dreamily.
“Whipped.” I teased.
“Am I?”
“Obviously.”
“Hey, you should get yourself a hot chick or something.” Seungcheol gave me a knowing look before giving me a pat on the back.
“What for.” I muttered, not really wanting Seungcheol to hear it, but he did anyways.
“So you won't stare at Jihoon and I looking like some old hag missing his deceased spouse.” Seungcheol rolled his eyes.
And then, images of a smiling, laughing, frowning Wonwoo came flooding my mind.
I miss him.
Where are you, Wonwoo? I still have not forgotten anything about you. But have you?
Have you forgotten me?
The thought went right through my heart, stabbing me like a goddamn knife, then left me bleeding and bleeding and bleeding until I couldn't breath anymore. It hurts a lot.
It hurts, Jeon Wonwoo. It hurts.
