"Hey Aaliyah, hows mommy" Zach bends down

"Missing daddy" she looks at Zach "daddy's an asshole though"

"Aaliyah" I gasp "don't say that"

"Sorry" She laughs

"How is y/n, is she okay" Zach sits beside her

"Yeah, she's out for a meal with her family but her dad doesn't approve of her handing a child so she left me with her" I take the guitar of the couch

"Aaliyah your eyes are really pretty" Jonah smiles

"Daddy has blue eyes because mommy has brown eyes... I have blue eyes" she laughs

Jonah laughs and Jack walks in from the backyard "Aaliyah, wanna play soccer?" He asks

"Okay" she jumps off the couch and starts running towards the backyard

We all go into the backyard, all of us.

We were playing soccer and I got a call off y/n

"Hey, what's up" I ask

"I'll be back at 6, is she okay" she sounds like she's whispering

"Yeah... why are you whispering" I laugh and kick the ball to Jonah

"Because my brother is here and he doesn't know I'm here so I'm surprising him... thank you so much Daniel" she says

"Thank you for blessing us with a amazing child to look after, Ive never seen Zach be more childish" I laugh

"I gotta go, I'll call you whenever I'm near your home"

"What's your uncle called" I ask Aaliyah who's rolling around the grass with Corbyn

"I have two uncles but mommy only keeps in touch with one of them" she stops "ones called Ryan and the one I don't see is called Joseph... apparently Joseph's a bad boy in a bad place"

"He's in prison?" Jonah looks confused

"Yeah" Aaliyah says

"That's weird... I know a guy called Joseph who's in prison... I used to date his cousin" he shrugs his shoulders "small world"

"Mommy's only dated one guy... my daddy" she starts pulling at the grass

There was a big splash and we all turn our heads to the pool "does Aaliyah have a swim costume" Jack says

"No" she shakes her head

"Can Aaliyah get changed by herself" Christina comes out with her swimsuit on and a little pink one

She smiles widely "Yeah" she runs up to Christina

"Come on" Christina goes inside with her.

We all get changed into our trunks and when we come out, Christina was teaching her how to swim

"Guess what I got" Zach jumps in the pool with his Floatie

We all jump in and she lays across the floatie

"Does mommy have a pool in her house" Jack asks

"No, we have a really big backyard, I've got a swing set in it" she starts swimming

"Who taught you how to swim" Jonah asks

"Nonna" she sits with her feet in the water

"Grandma" Jonah smiles
