Something different

"Daniel" I said trying to find a comfortable spot in the bed

"Y/n babe, what's wrong" he swings in the chair from his desk to look at me

"Come to bed and cuddle" I say with a innocent smile

"Baby I need to finish the song" he swings back around

He's been working on this song for 3 days and he hasn't slept for one night, this kid puts so much dedication in his music it's beautiful and I love it! But he does need to sleep though

I get out of bed and stand behind him resting my hands on his shoulders "you've been working on it for 3 days straight and haven't slept one night, please" I start massaging his shoulders. He was so tense

"Baby I would love to but I really need to finish it" He looks up at me

"Daniel you can sleep you know. I love how much dedication you put into your work for your fans and everything but it's your holiday, I only get to see you for 1 week and I don't want half of this week you not sleeping and just writing a song. Please come to bed" he needs sleep. The circles under his eyes tell everyone that

"Baby, I would love to but I'm nearly done" he smiles weakly at me

I sigh cus he said this last time and ended up falling asleep on the chair

I lay back in the bed and half an hour later he still isn't done 

I walk back up to him and see the redness in his eyes from not sleeping.

I sit on his knees and bring the chair closer to the desk "I'll help you" I take the pen off him

"Go bed baby. You're tired" he scoots his arm around my waist

"I've been waiting for you to get in bed with me so I can sleep with you. Daniel I'm only getting a week to see you before you head back to LA and half of that week is already gone. I haven't even slept with you yet, and the only time we kissed was when I picked you up, and I'm not gonna see you for another 6 months" I say calmly looking into his eyes "so please come to bed so we can cuddle and we can both work on the song tomorrow or something"

"Okay babe." He pecks at my lips with a cheeky smile afterwards.

I smile and get off his knee and back into the bed.

He walks in to the shower room to get changed and comes back out in joggers and shirtless

"Wow. You've been working out" I laugh while he gets beside me

"Only for my baby" he starts kissing me

I kiss back but pull away after a while before one thing leads to another

"Baby I have a surprise for you tomorrow" he brings my head down to his chest

"Can we speak about it tomorrow so you can get some sleep" I look up at him

"Course"

I intertwine our hands and move my head to his shoulder. He starts running his hand through my hair and soon I'm asleep on his shoulder.

I wake up at 6.45 way too earlier on a Sunday morning.

I try and fall back asleep but can't.

Daniels arm was around my waist and I was as close to him as I could possible be

Then hands that we're intertwined last night was still together. His soft snores made me smile so much.
