The door of our cell opened and a rather handsome looking officer walked in. He drank in our appearance and spoke, "Kids care to share what happened."

"It's his-her fault." Both Derek and I said at the same time.

"If it wasn't for your awful sense of direction we wouldn't be in this mess." He argued.

"Excuse me. We wouldn't have been in this mess if you used that brain of yours." I elaborated.

"I did use it until you tried to kill me." He said exasperatedly.

"Stop being such a drama queen." I scoffed.

"If it wasn't for me we wouldn't have escaped," I  added reminding him.

"If it wasn't for you we wouldn't have gotten in this mess." He replied.

"You are so infuriating," I told him.

"Feeling's mutual." He retorted.

"Copycat," I mumbled under my breath.

"Please, we all know here that you head over heels for me." Derek started with a smug look.

"Yeah, you mean how my heel will be trampling your head," I commented.

"SHUT UP! NOW SOMEONE EXPLAIN TO ME WHY YOU'RE HERE!" Yelled the officer frustrated with our childish behaviour.

And that's how ladies and gentlemen I started telling the officer the story of how we got into jail.

Flashback (10 hours ago)

We were all chilling at the twins's place. We all sat at the front of the tv when Derek and I started bickering.

"You're so annoying." I huffed out.

"You mean annoyingly hot." he pointed out.

"I hate you."

"Did you just say I love you?" Derek asked excitedly.

"Yes, she did."Agreed my so-called friends.

"You," I said pointing my finger and that's when the handcuffs were set on my right hand.

"What the heck!"

"Darling didn't your parents teach you that pointing is rude."Derek chided and Tony put the handcuff on his hand and since he was facing me it was on his left and so we weren't facing the same direction.

"Tony," I yelled at the top of my lungs while trying to run over to Tony who was playing with the key that could give me my freedom.

Keyword: trying.  My attempt to run just made my wrist sore.

"Lookey here Pretty boy, run backwards," I ordered Derek.

After a couple of minutes, Derek ran over the wall and missed the staircase which resulted in all of us falling all over one another.

When we finally caught up with Tony, the rest of them looked at the scene with great interest as they munched on some popcorn.
