You do not have to read this one shot but I am writing this because of my own reasons. I am currently going to go on with writing my Kallura and Plance book before writing more one shots.

The war was still going on as expected.

Alana was prepared for what she knew was going to happen.

She stood next to her daughter and looked at her.

She bent down to talk to her daughter face to face.

"Laila, I have to explain some things to you."

Laila stared at her mother with a cocked head.

"Honey, mommy is about to leave for a really long time and you might not ever see me again."

"Why?"

Alana sighed, "Well Laila, Mommy is about to do something that could cause many things to happen and with that comes me never returning."

"Are you leaving me for good?"

Alana looked at her daughter, "I wish I didn't have to."

Laila, who was 8 at the time, stared at her mother with tears.

"What about when I need you?"

"You have auntie Allura for that."

"It won't be the same."

"I know."

Laila sighed and hugged Alana, "I understand though, it is for the war."

Alana nodded and hugged her back.

They separated and Alana ran towards a pod.

Right now, Voltron was in the midst of a battle with Haggar.

It seemed like Haggar was weakening Voltron to the point where they won't win.

Alana noticed this and decided to distract Haggar.

Alana shot at Haggar after landing the pod.

Haggar got closer to her and then both of them were surrounded by a forcefield.

"What is this?"

Alana smirked and watched Haggar become confused.

"Simple it is only the finest Nightingvale technology."

Haggar turned towards Alana and stared at her, "It can't be Nightingvale technology was destroyed by the Empire."

Alana simply smirked and looked around, "Well that was wrong then."

Haggar shot a blast of her magic towards Alana.

"How do you even know that?"

Alana winced when the blast hit her, "Simple because I am Alana Nightingvale."

Haggar once again threw a blast at Alana but this time Alana dodged it.

"The Nightingvale family is dead."

"Another fact proved wrong."

She glared at Alana and kept throwing the blasts of magic.

What Haggar didn't know was that with the blasts the stronger the hidden bomb got.

Alana knew this and smirked.

Another blast.

Alana then shot something that caused Haggar to stop in her place.

She noticed Alana's eyes glowing as she was pushed back by her.

The paladins were all watching this with fear.
