Chapter 11

"Nice to meet you again Mr. Collins."
"Sit. Both of you."
"Yes sir."
"Da-"
"So you are dating?"
"We haven't even went on a date yet dad."
"But we will go on a date tomorrow and I would love to have your permission to take her out."
"Ansley leave I would like to talk to Mr. Grier here."
"Uh nah I will-"
"Now."

Obeying I stood up and looked back at Nash to my surprise he was staring at my dad with a serious expression.

I circled around my room a few times pacing. Why was I nervous? Nash would do fine. Yeah I know him kind of now he will do fine. I decided to get dressed well I waited. I took the fastest shower and then changed. It was forty five minutes later by the time I was done blowdrying my hair. I put on my swim suite. A neon yellow twisted bandeau and plain black tie bottoms. Then I put on jean shorts with bleached fray at the bottom. Sliding into my flip flops my phone dinged.

Me:still in my room... Mishap w/ Nash

Me: my dad was waiting outside the elevator.... And me and Nash might hav been too close

It was an hour later. Now I was worrying.

I slowly opened my door listening. I heard them laughing. Laughing? Yes that was laughing from both of them. Followed by footsteps I backed away from the door leaping towards my beanbag taking out my phone trying to look busy.

Nash peaked around the door and I looked up from my phone.

"Are you coming?"
"Mhm so?" I said walking over to him.
"I'm a lovable person. Just no more making out in front of him."
"Wow."
"What you didn't think I could do it."
"Yes thats exactly what I was thinking."
"Well then you were wrong."
"More like surprised."
"Wrong."
"Eh surprised."
"Okay. Well I will meet you at the beach."
"Kay."

I started to walk out of the door when he stopped me.

"What?"
"Your hot and all but shirt and longer shorts maybe?"
"Why does this bother you?" I motioned to myself
"Yes we are dating now no guys will be able to stare at what is mine. Do you have any one pieces."
"No and I can wear what I want."
"Please change? For me?"
"For you? Awe- no."
"At least a shirt?"
"Fine."

I walked back into my room and opened my top drawer pulling out a random top. Throwing it on i skipped past Nash. My Dad was gone when I got into the kitchen. Grabbing an apple we walked into the elevator.

"Where will you be?"
"Probably in the pool or ocean some body of water."
"Keep your phone on I will text you when I get there."
"See you in a few."

He walked out of the elevator back into his room and I headed down to the club. I spotted Mahogany as soon as I walked in her curly red hair in a tight bun. She was talking to three guys by the looks of it. I walked closer and got a look at the guys. It was Aaron, John, and Kevin. Aaron turned walking back my way.

"Oh hey I'm going to go gather up most of the guys and we were going to go play football on the beach. You want to play?"
"Yeah sure see you down there."

Aaron walked past me and I walked the last few steps to Mahogany.

"Hey Ans we were meeting this lovely lady."
"Hi."
"Ansley I was meeting your friends they are nice people."
"Ha no they're not."
"Excuse me! I can be nice." John argued.
"Okayyyy." I laughed.
"Are you playing football guys?" Taylor said coming up behind us
"Yeah I think we are." Mahogany said
"Then come down the beach we are picking teams."
