Poetry.....Beginning To End

A Glance In the Mirror

I looked in the mirror

And was surprised at what I saw.

There it was

Everything that I had ever done

And everything that I will do

All laid out for me to see.

And to tell the truth

I was disappointed.

All that I said I was going to do

Was undone.

I was disappointed

That I was going to resortp to such etremities

To get what I wanted out of life.

That was the moment I decided I was going to change my ways.

And at that moment

My future changed.

It's not set in stone

But made up of the little things we do today

All laid out

In my reflection.
