"HEY, what's wrong?"
Peter tried.
He tried but failed; and he blamed himseld for being worthless and stupid and-
"Peter!"
He was startled by his voice.
Adam's beautiful voice.
"I-It's nothing. I failed at my exam"
"What exam?"
Peter showed him an English exam.
A red mark was scribbled on the upper right corner of the paper: 84%
"Where is the failing grade? Oh where is it?" he jokingly flipped the paper a couple of times.
It made Peter chuckled.
Adam smiled.
"I got a big fat seventy-four on that exam, so don't go around saying you're worthless and stupid. People would think you're being arrogant"
Peter knew Adam was only kidding around; yet he also knew that his joke was true to his world.
Yet the real truth is, it wasn't the grades that made him numb day by day
