{8} Getting Ready

"Uh." Come on Millie, tell him the truth.

"I- I don't wanna go on a date with you Jacob.. just stop asking me questions!" I blurt out, as he scoffs.

"Your mistake." He rolls his eyes, getting up from is seat.

I roll my eyes, turning back my attention to Finn, as he gives me a glare.

"You can't even admit that we're going on a date. Are you embarrassed of me or something." He mumbles, messing with the sleeve of his hoodie.

"What? No- why would you ask that?" I question, as Sadie and Jacob now have their full attention on us.

"You know good and well we're a 'thing' and you're telling people we aren't." He says, air quoting 'thing',  slouching back in his seat.. he looks more hurt than he is mad.

"Finn, come on don't act like that."

"Save it sunshine, I don't really wanna talk right now." He sits back, propping his up feet on the desk.

I don't blame him. I would be kinda upset as well..
Not gonna lie.

I see Jacob smirk, as I give him the finger, seeing Sadie chuckle.

I look over at Finn, getting an idea. I grab my journal, he doesn't wanna talk about it, so I'll write to him instead.

I start writing, as he gives me a look. I give a small smile, continuing to write. After I finish, I rip it out of my journal, folding it up, and handing it to him.

He raises an eyebrow, unfolding the paper.

I'm not ashamed of you, I could never be ashamed of you. Pls don't be mad :(

He lets out a small smile, grabbing his pencil out.

Aw. You're so cute;) I'm not mad, I just wanted to see your reaction :)

He folds it back up, handing it to me, winking. He gives Jacob a glare, as I chuckle, opening up the note.

I read it, smiling, as I lean over the desk, giving him a small kiss on his cheek, smirking at Jacob, as he scoffs.

Finn blushes, as Sadie lets out an awe.

"You missed." He winks.

"There's a teacher in here!" I whisper yell, as he shrugs. He leans in, pecking my lips quickly, I open my mouth in shock, as he winks again.

"See, no one saw." He smirks, looking around.

"Yeah, no one." I say, pointing to Jacob as he clenches his jaw in anger.

Finn chuckles lightly, shrugging his shoulders.

The last bell for the day rings, as Iris runs up to me, squealing. "Time to get ready for your date!" She squeals, clapping her hands.

I smile lightly, feeling nervous and jittery.

Jacob walks up, with his arms crossed. "So much for
not together." He mumbles, rolling his eyes.

"Go suck your grandpa's dick Jacob, you're irrelevant." Iris scoffs, as I burst out in laughter.

Iris is definitely the funniest person I ever met.
