The Black Death, The Plague, or any number of other names... Whatever you want to call it, there's no doubt that had it not happened, the world would probably be a much bigger place today!
In 1000 words or less, tell the story of a resident of Constantinople and his/her experience with The Black Death.

Entries must be written in English. Unfortunately, we don't have any other language capabilities.
Whilst some leeway will be given, do your best to keep things PG-13.
