as the whistle blows my hearts starts beating faster. the blood rushing through my veins, the sweat dripping off our faces, everything seems to be going in slow mo. but it's actually not. we started strong in the beginning of the game but then we started to loose it. we were becoming tired and run down. before we knew it half time rolled around everyone but the coach and i sat down. the score was 31-6 other team. as the coach was talking i was swaying ever so slightly as she was talking then my eyes wondered into the crowd and i spotted jake and smirked, he also mouthed the words " just believe." i couldn't help but smile. i take the bottom of my shirt wipe the sweat off
coach: anything captain?
i look at everyone i the bench
erika: what if we play 2,3 zone instead of man that way we shut down there layups and we gain energy?
coach: sounds good to me
erika: offense lets do the play
coach: erika you sure?
erika: yes it will be our last play of the game! now what do you say we get our heads in the game and take the dub tonight?
team: yeah!
erika: i can't here you?!
team: YEAH!!!
erika: that's the spirit!
we get in a huddle and go over our plays to get baskets
erika: everyone good?
team: yup
the whistle blows again signaling that half time is over. we start playing, we shut down there offense by playing zone they can't get a shot off. one of the players takes a shot from the three and alex jumps up and stuffs her. alex grabs the ball passes it to a couple other people than i flash middle, pump fake dribble than layup and it good!
crowd: woah!!
i jog backwards as my team high fives me back to our defense of positions. forth quarter rolls around and we are down 43-42
ref: one minute left!
before we inbound the ball
erika: ref time-out!!
ref: time out red!
coach: erika what are you doing?
erika: it's time!
coach: no
erika: trust me we know the play we can do it
(i put my hands on the two peoples chest as they are  standing next to me)
erika: just get me the ball!
i walk over to alex
erika: alex when you see i have the ball your going to act like your doing a push up or tying your shoe in the lane than i'm going to run step on your back and dunk it
alex: sounds like a plan
erika: just don't make it look obvious
alex: got it!
the whistle blows and we in bound the ball swing it around the outside of the key a couple of times i get the ball and i hear the crowd counting down from ten. i juke a couple girls out and see alex on the ground i step on her back, jump and next thing you know i funk the ball as the buzzer goes off.
crowd:*gasps* WOAHH!!(standing up)
i hold on to the rim for a photo opportunity for the photographers. then i jump down as the whole team congratulates us on the win!
after we shake hand with the other team everyone comes down from the stands onto the court. i see jake and i run at him. he sees me, i run and jump as he catches me, i wrap my legs around his waist as we swung me around.
jake: you did amazing 😉
logan: dam rik! you gotta teach me that!
logan shows me his phone
erika: wow you got the whole thing on tape?
logan: yeah jake did too with the bigger camera
jake: facts!
just than i felt a tap on my shoulder i turn around to see
erika: LAUREN!!
lauren: RIK!!
we hugged
erika: i missed you so fricken much!
lauren: i could say the same thing, now please let go your hugging me way to tight
erika: bahaha sorry! it's good to see you lo
lauren: right back at yeah!
erika: one question
lauren: one answer
erika: how are you here?
lauren: because of that guy right there*pointing at jake*
i turn around to follow her finger
erika: really?
lauren: yeah! i mean i guess i kinda have to like him right*sarcastic*
erika:*giggles* yeah
lauren: come on let's go and party, i hear your leaving for LA soon! 
erika: actually tomorrow late night
lauren: well i hope to see you there sometime in the near future!
erika: of course!
lauren: btw great game tonight!
erika: thanks!
just than alex, sunny, mack and tessa came over. we introduced everyone to everyone.
tessa: anyone down to celebrate the big dub back at my place?
erika: sure!
boys: count us in!
girls: well duhhh!
we all went our own ways to go home and grab swim suits than we would meet up at tessa's.
—CAR RIDE TO TESSA'S—
(erika and lauren are in the same car together)
we jammed to music until lauren turned it down
lauren: soo mikey has a boy aye?!
i blushed a little
erika: yup!
lauren: it's finally good to see you happy again after all that bad stuff that went down.
erika: agreed! when i'm with him he makes me feel safe, protected and happy.*smiles* i don't know how to put it in to words. but if anything were to happen to him i don't know how i could live. he's-he's just perfect. even though he acts like he's all big and bad he really isn't.
lauren: sounds like my little e is in love!!!
erika: if this is what love feels like than......YES i am!
lauren: awwwwwe. you guys really do make a flipping cute couple #couplegoals!!
erika: *giggles*
we pull up to tessa's and run inside to get changed into our bathing suits. once we did we grabbed towels and jumped right into the pool. we stayed for a couple hours than decided to go home, as tomorrow is my last day in ohio.
erika: well we are honing to head out, goodnight y'all!!

chance: goodnight rik!

anthony: nighty night! rik when are we all meeting at the airport?
i look at jake
jake: oh i forgot to tell you we are all going to LA tomorrow night together!
boys: yeah we moved our flights!
girls: same for us!!
erika: this is gonna be fun! okay i'll say get there for 10:30 because the plane takes off at 11:30.
everyone: okay night!
i was walking to the car when i heard my name being called
jake: rik!
i turned around
erika: yes lover boy?
jake: i didn't get to say goodnight to my princess
he pulls me close to him, i wrap my arms around his neck, his arms wrapped around my waist.
jake: i love you princess, sweet dreams
he kisses me, i didn't hesitate to kiss back. when we pulled apart
erika: goodnight lover boy, love you too!
i kissed him on the cheek, than walked to the car. as i turned around he slapped my butt, i didn't care i just turned and winked. then got into the car and headed home to bed.
