Three days, seven hours and about forty minutes since I've been at Mr. Carter's Mansion, I hadn't seen him again after my first day. When I asked for him Ms. Wilson, snorted at me and told me in a unfriendly way that he was away on business and that I should mind my own business.

If there was one thing I was good at, it was picking up when someone disliked me, and Ms. Wilson and the other workers sure did. Every time I passed one of them, they would give me intense stares, shake their head and roll their eyes at me. I knew this was because of Ms. Wilson who was the ring leader. She probably told them that I abandon my child, left him at an office.

  But that wasn't true.

  Henrique isn't my child.

He's my nephew and no seemed to believe me.

I felt like an intruder and in some ways I am. I wasn't invited here, as much as Mr. Carter make it seem like I was, I knew I wasn't.

The only reason I am here is to take care of Henrique and I couldn't help but fall in love with him. I fell for his big radiant amber colored eyes, his dimples and his cosmic smile. He was an angel when he wasn't screaming but even in tears he looked like the most precious thing on Earth.

Being with him at made me happier than I've been in a while. He filled my heart with love, the love that was missing from it.

I looked at my sleeping nephew and smile. I used my left hand and rub his head. He didn't have much hair but the little he did have felt good under my palm.

Why did Alliyah leave him?

How could someone not love this beautiful angel?

Sighing, I walked over to my sofa and sat. I took out my phone and started scrolling through my Wattpad account, looking for a nice book to read.

I thank God the day I found Wattpad.

There were so many books to read and enjoy and the best part was, everything was free.

I finally found a book that grabbed my attention, Baby with The Billionaire. After adding it to my Library, I started to read.

'"Nope," I said popping the p, "Any child of mine will be conceived naturally."' I started laughing so hard at Kyle's word, what a jerk.

I stop laughing when I heard a knock on my door. I rolled my eyes for two reason, I hated when people interrupted me when I am reading, and I knew it was Ms. Wilson at the door which made me not want to answer it even more.

I couldn't ignore her because she must have heard me laughing a few seconds ago. Reluctantly, I mumbled, "Open."

She opened the door and stand at it's entrance. "Ms. Bisson lunch is ready,"

"Henrique, is sleeping." I replied without looking up at the middle-aged woman.

"Ms. Bisson, your lunch is ready." She spoke monotonously.

There is no way I'm going downstairs to have lunch by myself. I didn't want her boring any holes in my head, not that having Henrique every stopped her but at least I wouldn't have to be thinking about her giving me killer stares.

"Ms. Wilson when he gets up I'll eat mine also."

"Okay, Ms. Bisson." she agreed without any complications, closing the door behind her.

I place my phone on the table beside me. I stood up from the sofa and walked over to my bed. Not wanting to wake Henrique up, I slowly ease myself on it. I close my eyes.
