She shakes her head then say, "He's eighteen months old," she went back to her task.

I opened the fridge and took out one of the bottles. I was about to place it in the microwave when Ms. Wilson shouted, "Are you crazy? You don't put baby bottles in the microwave, that's a lot radiation for the baby."

I sighed then ask, "What am I to do then?"

She points to a pot on the island. "Put some water in that, then place the bottle in the water and put it on the stove."

I did exactly what she said, then took a seat.

I lift him the enfant head off my shoulder and look him in the eyes, which was still teary.

My heart broke when I looked at him.

I pointed over to his bottle. "It's almost done."

He used his left hand and rub his eyes.

I smiled up at him. "You're so sweet. We're gonna have so much fun." I lightly pinch his soft cheeks. He let out a smile. "Wow, you have just a beautiful smile." I pulled him close and rub my nose against his. He started giggling and I laugh. "You like that..ah...you like it."

"You beautiful eyes too, not ugly like my grey one."

Grey.

I totally forgot about Grey, he hadn't been in the room when I woke up.

"Ms. Wilson have you seen my dog around?"

"Yes, Ms. Bisson, he's with the other dogs at the back." She assured me without looking from her task.

"The other dogs?" The only time Grey got to see other dogs were at the Park and now he's with other gods.

"Yes, he's with Mr. Carter's dogs at back."

It made sense now that Mr. Carter was so friendly with Grey, he was a dog person. Taking my mind off my dog who was probably enjoying himself, I looked back at the baby in my hand.

I hadn't had a lot of encounters with babies in my twenty-six years of living but holding this one in my arms made me think I knew all there is to know. It felt right.

He felt right in my arms. Like he was made for me.

I turn to look at the pot and the water in it was starting to boil up. I got up and quickly take the bottle out of the water before it got too hot.

I didn't want to stay in the kitchen, so I start walking around until I find a huge settee. When I was seated Henrique reached out for his bottle.

I gave him the bottle and he brought it to his lips immediately.

This baby was a big boy after all.

When he finishes drinking the milk from the bottle, I lifted him up and patted his back until I hear the loud belch.

"Good boy."

I stood up from the settee with the intent of going back to my room but change my mind. I needed a tour of the place, after all, I will be living here until my sister decided to show herself. I might as well get used to it from now.

The décor of the house was the same throughout, wooden floors, wooden furniture and classic chandeliers. It was like a fairytale house, big and spacious. The cream walls were full of beautiful paintings and a few abstracts.

The further I walked in the closer I got to the sounds of barking dogs. Ahead of me was a French window, beyond it showed a beautiful garden. Curious to know what else was behind those doors I walked over to it. The door was opened so I just easily slipped through it. I followed the stone pathway which was surrounded by beautiful flowers. As I walked further down the path I heard the barking getting louder. Soon enough I am looking at a gazebo and four dogs playing around it.
