Chapter 16 (final chapter)

6 years later*

Life was amazing. Lily was 15! marcus was 10 and just started school and we had our 2 child together and her name is sophie and she is now 6 years old. Today her was birthday. Everyone was over and we were having a great time.

"cake time!!" i yell. everyone came running in.

we all sing happy birthday and I pass out cake. after cake we do presents and then everyone goes and plays again.

we were all sitting outside next to the fire because it was a little chilly. It was beginning to be fall. I go and sit next to gray. he puts his arm around me.

we are all talking and laughing by the fire.

"ms sophie your getting so big!!" lisa says hugging her.

"i know. I hate when they grow so fast" i say smiling.

"me too" she says. grayson is smiling. I look at him and smile.

"you okay" he asks.

"im more than okay. Im perfect" i say smiling.

"im glad" he says smiling.

we all talk and laugh some more. I loved this family. Life was perfect and It couldnt get any better!

Next day*

It was was the weekend. I was in the kitchen with gray and lily walks in.

"hey mom can I ask you something" she says sitting on the counter.

"yeah whats up" i say cutting vegetables.

"well I was wondering if my boyfriend could come over" She says.

"boyfriend?" i say looking up at her. She knods.

"since when do you have  boyfriend" gray says coming over.

"uhh a couple days ago" she says nervous.

"hmm" he says looking at her.

"gray" i say looking at him and giving that stop look.

"hes coming over today?" i ask.

"if thats okay?" she asks.

"thats fine with me"

"thanks mom" she says running back upstairs.

"wth" gray says.

"oh stop. shes 15 gray of course shes gonna have a boyfriend" i say making the salad.

"well not now she cant" he says looking at me. I look up at him and give him somewhat of a death look.

"hes coming over in an hour" lily says coming downstairs.

"okay" i say smiling.

and hour later passes and theres a knock at the door. grayson stands up.

"dad please don't embarrass me" lily says walking to the door.

"hi" lily says.

"hey" he says.

"come on in" she says.

"nice house" he says looking around.

"thanks" she says closing the door. They walk into the kitchen.

"mom this is jake. jake this is my mom" she says.

"nice to meet you" i say smiling.

"you too" he says smiling.
