Black Canary POV (I changed it up for once!)

I watched as the girl stepped up to the training platform.

"You ready," I asked.

She gave a small nod. Then she tossed an array of CDs at me. I caught them all without even getting scratched. I tossed a few punches. She dodged the first few but got hit with the last one. It sent her flying onto the ground.

"You're getting sloppy Olivia."

Her eyes flared dully as she glared up at me, "Tired, that's all."

I reached my hand out to her. She ignored it and pushed herself up off the floor.

I now looked at her. She did look tired, with dark circles under her eyes.

The rest of the Team was outside. Olivia was the last one to train.

"You're not just tired. You're distracted. What the matter, Olivia?"

"It's that stupid, freaking gun. There is no bloody way to crack it."

I reassured, "You'll get it."

"It's been a fu***** month! There's no freaking way!"

I sighed, "You should rest. Just rest in your room for a bit."

She muttered something inaudible, nodded, then walked off.

I examined the gun. It was nice and everything seemed to have its purpose. Except...

I heard footsteps come from behind me. I tensed slightly and turned around. It was Alec; I relaxed.

"Where's Scarlet? Is she okay?"

"In her room, resting."

Alec/Ace POV (I changed it up again!)

I walked almost silently into Olivia's room.

It was a nice room. Her drone was on the dresser. I smiled.

I saw Olivia under a blanket, sound asleep. Sorry, Olivia gotta do this though.

I jumped onto the bed. Olivia was instantly awake. She bolted upright in bed.

"Oh, my crap Alec ya' heard of knocking?!"

"Yeah... but this is way more fun," I said with a smirk.

She looked calmer now. Her powers... they drain her so much.

"You look a lot better."

"Feel a lot better, so," she paused, "you want something?"

I nodded and motioned for her to follow. She did. I didn't tell her much, figuring she wouldn't come if I did.

I turned a corner and led her to where the gun was being held. When we came up to where the gun was I heard Olivia groan. I heard her turn to walk away. Instinctively, I grabbed her forearm.

She turned around and glared at me. She tried to get her arm out of my grasp.

"Just one more time okay," I asked but really kinda commanded with my hand still clasped onto her forearm.

"Fine..."

"Good," and I let go of her arm.

I grabbed the gun. I turned it over and showed the bottom (magazine??) of the gun to her. It had a small, protruding bug on it. This said bug had the symbol on it. The freaking cursed symbol in my opinion. The symbol permanently on my and Olivia's shoulders.

"No way," I heard Olivia mutter.

Swiftly grabbing it out of my hands, Olivia ripped the bug off the gun. Then she closed her eyes and I realized she was analyzing it.

Five minutes passed. I still stood there next to the unmoving Olivia. Suddenly Olivia looked up at me. Her eyes glowed happily as she sent me a smile. Then I smiled too.
