Olivia/Scarlet POV

Black Canary adjusted our inhibitor bracelets one more time. After that was done Black Canary led us out of our cell. I stretched my legs as we walked. This part of the Mountain was new to Alec and me.

We walked into a large what looked like a common room. There, in said common room, was the Team. The stupid team we somehow decided to join.

"Team meet Olivia and Alec or...," she looked over to us.

Now I turned to look at Alec, "We didn't think about that."

"I don't wanna change."

I nodded, "Scarlet and Ace."

Black Canary hesitated for a second but then slowly nodded.

"Now team," Black Canary motioned to a screen I had not noticed, "There is a boat scheduled to dock at a local port tomorrow at midnight. This boat is highly advanced, made up of almost all tech. The dealer is selling new, advanced, tech automatic weapons. Your mission is to stop any trade or sale of any sort. Until then, I guess you can do what you want."

"Hey, um...er..., Black Canary," I stuttered.

She turned around not noticing Alec and me before then.

"Yeah?"

"We were uh," Alec muttered, "wondering if we could go back to our warehouse. Just to grab a few things."

I continued,"'Y know we couldn't just walk out," motioning to the horrid bracelet, "and we thought we'd ask you."

Black Canary smiled kindly. Then she nodded and walked over to the zeta beams. Surprisingly she knew the destination code. Well, then again how wouldn't she?

"Gosh, I love this place!"

"Agreed."

"Well, let's get to it," I turned to Black Canary, "ten minutes?"

She nodded. We ran off. I turned to my room, Alec turning to his. After a very short few minutes, I came out of my room armed with a stuffed backpack and a box. Alec came out with the same.

I smiled and plopped down on the floor.

"It's a very, very late birthday present," I said as I gave Alec the normal, unwrapped brown box.

He gave me the other box, grinning from ear to ear. All matters aside he looked like a monkey.

I opened it. It was a mini-drone! A super basic one! (kinda like the one above)

I watched Alec open his and I started to grin. God, it's contagious! When the lightbulb in his head clicked he smiled. I got him a new scabbard.

We stuttered for words. Then I looked up at him and he blushed. I looked away as I felt my cheeks heat up.

"We should be going," I looked around, "She'll * protect it."

"No doubt," murmered Alec.

Alec and I walked back to where Black Canary was. BC looked curiously at the boxes we held but said nothing.

Back at the Mountain, I started to put together the mini-drone. It was awesome! Surprisingly it had four mini cannons like things attached to it. One on each side. They didn't come with ammo though. But, seriously, is that really a problem?

I sat in the presumed kitchen area cutting up old, useless CDs.

"These'll work..." I muttered quietly but genuinely happy.

??? POV

"Oh yes, I protect it... As long as you uphold your side of the deal protectors," muttered a mysterious, dark voice all to themselves.

A/N: Hewo. I not dead. (582 words)

* Said person will be relieved at a later time. Hehehe (maniacal Joker laughing) Hahaha, help me...
