Olivia/Scarlet POV

We glanced around the area, trying to locate a place to hide our motorcycles. The warehouse was around the size of our own, y'know, with a better roof.

Ace, Red Hood, and I were near the crime lord's warehouse Jason wanted to rob. Alec and I were just in it for the money. We're not greedy; we're just needy.

"Hey, guys! I found a place," I whisper-shouted.

I pulled behind a small shack. Ace and Red Hood followed. I could barely see them because we were all wearing black clothes. At least Ace and I were. Hood was wearing his signature hood/mask and his tan jacket.

"You sure the sidekicks won't be here?"

I heard something in Ace's voice I never heard before. Fear.

Jason nodded but I could see the unsure look in his eyes. We crept into the seemingly abandoned warehouse. The deeper we got into the warehouse, louder the talking became. Jason grabbed his gun and cocked it.

"Where's the money?" Jason shouted.

Someone started chuckling. I glanced nervously at Ace. My heart rate quickened and my breathing got faster.

"Really Todd? You think you can just waltz on in here and expect us to give you our money? He**, that's hilarious, ain't it, boys?"

"Black Mask..." Jason hissed.

"That be me, boy," He looked at me and Alec," Oh, Jason. Who do we have here?"

Black Mask, as Hood called him, reached over to almost touching my hair. A sword hit his hand, but not cutting flesh.

"Oh! I see...," Black Mask clapped his hands together but spoke darkly, "You're gonna wish you didn't do that boy."

Gunfire erupted in the small warehouse. Jason ducked behind a tall box and Alec and I ducked behind smaller boxes. I felt a bullet go over my head and crouched down further.

'I'm sorry,' Alec mouthed to Jason and me.

Did Alec really just apologize? To Jason of all people? I mean, of course, Alec would apologize to me normally but never to Jason.

I pondered this for a second but was stopped as a window shattered. Landed swiftly on the ground was Robin, Artemis, and formally known Squidkid, as newly dubbed Aqualad.

Within the next five minutes...

Jason and the money magically disappeared, the sidekicks kicked Black Mask's friends' butts, and Black Mask escaped.

Now, oh great, that leaves us... The sidekicks slowly started to close in on Alec and me.

"Oh f***!"
