Chapter Four: Baby Justice Leauge

Olivia/Scarlet POV

I woke up on a small cot. The room I was located in was all gray. On one of the walls, there was a mirror, a one-way mirror probably. In the middle of the room was a table with three chairs, two of the next to each other.

Ace was still knocked out cold on the cot. I slapped Ace across the face.

"Jeez, Scarlet! I'm up!"

3rd Person POV

"Hey, Batman! We caught those two fugitives." Robin piped up.

"You did what? Ugh. How many of you were hurt?"

"Out of Aqualad, Artemis, Kid Flash, Miss Martian, and myself, only Artemis and I didn't get hurt."

The computer showed a nodding Batman, " Green Arrow and I will be on our way. Don't make any contact with them. There will be consequences if you do. Batman out."

"We should definitely go by them!" Artemis announced which shocked Robin.

"Are you crazy stupid?!" Robin asked utterly shocked.

"Yup! You should come with though. Screw Batman, we'll be fine."

Robin sighed," I guess your right."

Olivia/Scarlet POV

I sat next to the slapped Ace on "my" cot. I rested my head on his shoulder*.

"It's all my fault. I forgot about her."

"Don't beat yourself up. It's not your fault."

"We could have stopped Robin," I sniffed.

"Scar. Look. We couldn't have stopped Bird Brain. Even if we could, they would have caught us in due time. Maybe, just maybe, this is for the better."

His sweet, calm words sent a shiver up my spine*. I smiled, and no, not a cocky smile. A real one.

"Yeah, I guess your right."

Suddenly a noise snapped me out of my daze. Ace glanced over at me sideways.

"You heard that too, right?" I asked quickly and quietly.

"Yeah, I did."

Ace created a dagger and hit it in a secret pocket in his boot. A door slid open. Arrow Girl and Bird Brain walked in. The door shut behind them and locked.

Ace glared at Robin. Robin glared right back. (Tension...)

"Sit down."

"What does it look like we're doing?" I snapped back.

"Looks like girly over there's holding a grudge." Artemis mocked.

"Shut. The. He**. Up."

"Who are you two?"

"Nobodies." Ace responded.

"Who are you two?" Robin repeated the question.

"Scarlet and Ace," I responded.

Now Robin was visibly getting annoyed, "Who are you behind the masks?"

"Don't you have some mission to go on?" Ace asked impatiently, avoiding the question.

Artemis hissed,"No. We don't have a team to go with. Thanks to you two."

Ace and I smirked. And on that note, Artemis and Robin opened the door. They walked out and the door shut behind them.

3rd Person POV

Artemis and Robin walked down the hallway in silence.

Artemis asked, "Do you think they'll be okay?"

"I don't know. They got some good hits on our teammates."

Robin and Artemis walked into the medbay. There laid Miss Martian, who had Superboy sitting next to her, Aqualad, and Kid Flash who was farthest from the door. Artemis ran over to Kid Flash.

"Are you okay?"

"I'm perfectly fine, Arty." He replied.

"How are you doing Kaldur?" Robin asked.

He weakly sat up.

"I've been better, my friend. How are the two fugitives?"

"Stubborn, but as expected."

"What is to become of them?"

"Batman and Green Arrow are going to pick them up around..." Robin looked up at a clock on the wall, "Well, looking at the time, they are going to pick them up in the morning."

"Where are they going to take them?"

Robin just merely shrugged, unable to answer the question.
