Chapter-1 Paper Balls.

❇Becca's POV❇

You call me up

It's like a broken record

I wake up to Heartbreak Girl by 5SOS which was set at six to get ready for school. Groaning, I rolled out of my bed and crawled to the bathroom that was attached to my bedroom.

I am so not a morning person!

I lazily brushed my teeth, had a bath, did all my morning routine and went out to choose an outfit for school with a towel wrapped around my body. I decided to wear my black and white striped t-shirt, a pair of black ripped jeans, a long grey cardigan and my Adidas shoes. My hair was managing with me, so I left them untouched with those loose curls. Next, I put up some eyeliner and my lip gloss.

I wasn't a fan of caking my face with makeup, but eyeliner and lip gloss? I am all up for it!

Next, I took my bag, my phone which was thankfully charged, my earphones, in case I get bored in class and decide to hear music and then left my room. I made my way downstairs and saw that my family was happily eating breakfast.

"Good morning people!", I chirped happily and gave a peck to my mom and dad on the cheek.

"Good morning sweetie", my dad responded while my mother smiled warmly at me as I sat on the chair. My mother made her famous pancakes today and I couldn't be happier about it. My brother, Jack, came down with his messy bed hair and a casual outfit that basically screamed that he was the bad boy, who was still sleepy.

He said a small "good morning" to everyone and tried to snatch my plate. Keyword: tried.

Over the past years, I learnt every trick of my brother and this one is included. He always snatches my food and that results in me getting late because his college starts late but my school doesn't. Lucky mutt got out of school before me.

He scowled at me but then, like the mature person that I am, I stuck my tongue out at him. He stuck his own tongue out and then sat down on a chair. Mom gave him his breakfast and he smiled at her with a small thank you.

My family continued chatting during breakfast. I got up, placed my dirty dishes in the sink, went over to the chair I was sitting on, grabbed my bag, pecked my mom and dad on cheek and ruffled Jack's hair once before going out of the house. Since Chloe, my-- basically- other half and childhood best friend, got her license, she could drive her own car now and I go with her since I still don't have my license.

Just as I was about to ring the bell to her house, she opened the door and grinned at me. She gave me a big hug and I returned it back.

"I missed you bestie!" she said as she broke the hug.

"Really Chloe? We literally met last night!" I rolled my eyes playfully at her as she scowled at me and stuck her tongue out.

"Whatever, I still missed you." She said. I just grabbed her arm because she was going to get us late for school.

"Jeez calm down woman, I'm coming!" she exclaimed as we got in the car. She started the car and I turned on the radio. Fallin' by Why Don't We started to play and we both started singing like the crazy persons that we are.

Around three songs and endless giggling about our bad singing later, we reached school. Chloe parked the car in her usual spot and we started making our way out of the parking lot towards the school gates. We both were engrossed in our small talk.
