Toward the end of book 1, the four main animatronics all end up trying to murder (Y/n) again, but she survives and makes it to the end of her working hours, then when she comes back after the place is rebuild and stuff in book 2, the originals have fully gone mad and have forgotten her, trying to kill her again. Between her leaving and coming back though, both her parents die so she's left all alone in her house, terrified.
