"Thermos" Percy shouted
"What" I yelled
Tyson opened the duffle bag and pulled a thermos Percy opened it and we flew away.
We decided to call Chiron I threw a drachma into the mist and asked for him. He did show up but it was loud.
We told him everything that had happened.
"Percy" he said "you need to watch out for-"
"What?" Percy shouted
"Annabeth you shouldn't have let Percy leave camp. But if you do get the fleece-"
"Miami" Chiron yelled "ill try to keep watch"
The screen broke and we were alone speeding across the ocean.

We spotted land an hour later.
"It's Virginia Beach" I said "wait that's the princess andromeda how did it travel so far over night? It must be like-"
"Five hundred and thirty nautical miles."
"How'd you know that?" I asked
"I don't know"
"What are our coordinates?" I asked
He didn't even pause.
"36 degrees 44minutes north 76 degrees 2 minutes west." He shook his head. "How'd I do that?"
"Probably because of your dad" I said "that's so cool"
"Other boat coming" Tyson said
A coast guard cruiser was on our tail.
"We can't let them catch us they'll ask way too many questions" Percy said
"Take us into Chesapeake bay" I said "I know where we can hide"
Percy didn't ask anything about anything he just took us into the mouth of the river.
"Just passed the sandbar" I said trying to remember exactly where it was
As we continued the scenery got more recognizable. Memories flooded me this was one of the last hideouts before Grover found Luke Thalia and I.
The area was swampy vines hung down more than five years ago.
"Come on just down here" I said as i stopped the boat
"What is it" Percy asked
"Just follow" I said "we should cover the boat."
We did and I led them deeper into the woods towards the hideout.
"Here" I said I pulled the door away
It was just how we left it. Our sleeping bags blankets. Some ambrosia and nectar but not much javelin tips a quiver of arrows and an extra sword.
"A half-blood hideout" Percy said "you made this?"
"Thalia and I" I said my voice close to a whisper "And Luke"
Percy paused
"Do you think he'll look for us here" Percy asked
"We made a dozen like this I doubt he even remembers it" I said
I opened my duffle bag looking through it not wanting to talk about it. Especially with Tyson here.
"Tyson could you go scout around and try to find a store for food"
We were in the middle of nowhere we weren't going to find anything.
"Okay"
Tyson left and Percy came and sat down across from me. His sea-green eyes gazed into one. He was genuinely worried about me.
"Look I'm sorry about meeting Luke."
"It's not your fault" I said I pulled my knife out and started polishing the blade.
"He let us go too easily" Percy said
I nodded "yeah I think so. 'They'll take the bait' that's what he said"
"Is the fleece the bait or Grover?"
"I don't know" I said i fiddled with my hat.
"When Luke said Thalia would be on his side you said she wouldn't are you sure?" He asked
I know he didn't mean to hurt me but it still did.
"She wouldn't" I said
"you don't sound so sure"
"Percy you remind me so much of Thalia it's scary you'd either be best friends or worst enemies." I said
"Let's go with best friends" he said
"But the point is would you join Luke just because your mad at your dad?"
"No" he said
"There you go" I said
"Annabeth?"
"Yeah"
"What the deal with Tyson between you and Luke"
I took a shaky breath.
"You can never trust a Cyclopes" I said
"Is that the real reason why Thalia"
"Well-"
"Doughnuts" Tyson said proudly opening the door
"Where'd you get those?" I asked
"Monster doughnut" he said
"There shouldn't be anything near here" I said
"Things have changed in the passed fifty years" Percy joked
"Seriously?"
He shrugged
"Let's check it out" I said
