Phil Lester
My vision started to blur and my chest tightened. Fuck. Not here. Not now. I began to shake. Dan was standing across the room, facing away from me. He was searching around his desk, looking to show me the newest addition to his flower crown collection. Meanwhile, I was sitting on his bed, resisting flashbacks.
I couldn't breathe. He towered over me.
"Get up, faggot" My uncle spat. I shook my head and moaned in pain. I could hardly move, except for the tremors going throughout my body. Everything hurt. His foot met my stomach and I cried out. More tears. My mom stood in the back, watching in horror. She was frozen. I saw him bend down and felt his hand reach around my throat. I was lifted up and slammed against the wall.
"STOP!" I screamed. Dan jumped and turned around.
"P-Phil, are you ok?" He approached me cautiously. All I saw was my uncle. I backed away. "G-get away from me."
"Phil, you're scaring me. W-what's wrong What's going on?"
"GET AWAY!" I wasn't thinking. The only thing that was clear was there was someone in front of me and they could hurt me. Dan moved closer and wrapped an arm around me.
"DON'T FUCKING TOUCH ME!" I yelled, shoving him into the wall. Dan's brother came rushing up the stairs.
"What the hell is going on in here?" He looked at Dan, lying on the ground, looking at me in fear. Then he looked to me, my arms still outstretched.
"Get out Phil. Now." I slowly came back to my senses. I saw Dan and his brother.
"Oh my god. A-Adrian. I-i'm so sorry. I d-didn't mean to." The look on Dan's face was killing me.
"Get. The fuck. Out of my house Philip." I quickly obliged, gathering my things and rushing out into the hall. Then, I just ran. I ran to the field. I ran to the park. I ran to my house. I grabbed my money, then I ran to the bus stop. I couldn't be here anymore.
