Phil Lester
Dan seemed off since the kiss. I knew he thought I didn't know, but I could tell. His smiles were forced and his general aura changed.
"Dan, I think we should talk," I said with a grin. Immediately, his breath hitched. I could see his face get redder.
"A-about what? Did I do something wrong?" He was fidgeting with his sweater paws nervously.
"Since we kissed, you haven't seemed the same? Whats up?" Dan looked down and sighed.
"I just feel like I did something wrong. God is against this, against what we have, and I feel like I'm being a bad Christian by wanting to keep it going." Tears started to well in his eyes. I nodded.
"I can't say I know exactly how you feel. We both know I'm not religious, but I can say I can understand feeling like you need to be fixed. When I was 13 and I first came out, my uncle reacted, uh, violently," I said
"I'm sorry. I-I didn't know that." He brought his head up shyly. I just shrugged my shoulders.
"What's done is done. My point is that I like you Dan. I want us to be together, but I won't push you to do what you don't want or don't feel comfortable doing." I started to stand up before he pulled me down and kissed me gently.
"I like you too Phil. I like kissing you. Just..please don't bite."
