And I'm not saying I've got all the answers but it woulda been better if you called

Well the walls they're shakin' and people are pulling on the bricks
And if you think your stories are sturdy best of luck you stupid bitch
I guess what I'm saying is you better look out cuz' your alibi isn't worth a damn
So if it isn't obvious its looking like you're in a jam
And I would help you out but you've dug so deep I can't reach that far into the ditch
Now its so damn dark you know there's not a chance that I can see in the pitch
But I can feel the rain coming down hard and you can't tread water very long
I think the best thing now is to admit you knew something was going wrong
At least then when you die the true story will be from you and thats not anything but strong
And don't hold out hope if you think someone else will save you — trust me darling they musta' been stringing you along
And they just keep laughin' while they keep on singin' — "bloody war"
