"What you know about this little girl? I asked her. "Josie plays this song," she said

"Both of y'all are too young for this" I said turning the music back up. We pulled up to the school. I put my car and park and stepping out. She ran out giving me a hug. "You want me to walk you in there or you're okay? I asked.

"I'm okay, there's goes Dreux and Rudy," she said. "Okay, be good little girl," I told her. "Bye Mr. Ricky" she hugged me again before running off. I got back in the car, I could see Dreux from afar talking to his son's teacher. Once he saw me he came over to me. "Wassup Dad," he said

"Chill," I said. He peeked through my window to see Jace. "Oh, shoot you done took the baby" he said. Jace was relaxing with his bottle and his hand. "We just chilling," I said. "What you up too? I asked.

"Nothing I was just going to ask you if you wanted get some breakfast" he said. "Aren't you going to a brunch? He asked. "Yeah at 2, I'm hungry now tho" I said. "Okay bet, meet me at waffle house" he said. I pulled off making my way there. I invited the usual crew and everyone was down to meet up.

9:30 am

"What happened last night? Why was she crying like that? He asked. "Her father is dying" I said cutting up on my waffles. "Damn that's fucked up, no wonder why she was wildin on me like that" he said cutting his steak. "Nah, she found out after. You are an instigator Dreux... that's all that's to it" I told him. "I can vouch for that" Rudy chimed in. "Forget ya'll" he said. My phone began going off and I knew it was Josie she FaceTimed me as I watched it ring. I should scare her a little bit since she didn't want to do what she was supposed to do. I answered it "Where is Jace? She asked in a worried tone. I put the camera on him tapping on his high chair. "I know she didn't just hang up on me" I said

"She's getting comfortable, before you know it she's gonna be cursing you out "Rudy said

"She's not that crazy" I said. Jace leaned over staring at my plate. "You ain't getting none" I told him. "Ya" he spoke

"Aint no ya" I laughed all of us laughed as I broke him a piece of my waffle. He grabbed it nibbling on it. "I can't wait to see you with a kid little bro, you're gonna be great" Dreux said. "Yeah, my next girlfriend is having my kids. I'm getting old" I said eating. "Josie literally spit that baby out; he looks exactly like her. I don't see Raymond anywhere" he said. "I know; he has her big head too" I joked

"So where we meeting tonight?

"Hey" I smiled letting him inside. "I see you're almost done packing everything up," he said. "Yeah, time for a smaller house, this house is too big for us anyway," I said. "Need help with anything? He asked. I turned around "Not really, the movers are coming next week," I said turning back around to see him with another set of flowers. "For me again? I asked.

"Yeah, I got a little surprise for you after that fashion show," he said. "That's only a month away," I said

"Worth the wait," he said. I blushed placing the flowers in a vase. "I apologize for the other day," he said. I gave him a confused look. "Huh?

"I didn't mean for what I said to come off like that. I just don't want to be compared to your ex for simply just doing me" he explained. I sighed "I understand, I know you're single and that's fine. We just shouldn't be kissing and stuff". I told him. "What if I want too though? He asked.
