Chapter 5

"Ang haba ng hair! Daig pa si Rapunzel!" Sigaw ni Noah habang sinasabunutan yung buhok ko. "Chaka, dinamay pa si universe sa mga sexy lines ni Luca!"

Nasa coffee shop kami ngayon nila Sandra and Noah. We decided to study out since walang nag-suggest kung kaninong bahay ang gagamitin. Puro mga tamad magpalaam.

"Jowain mo na, sis," Sandra said as she was biting the cap of her ballpen. "Di ko na 'yan papakawalaan, Selene. Kumbaga sa lotto, jackpot round na."

Itong dalawa, sobrang uhaw sa presensya ni Luca. They're the ones to blame sa mga nangyayari ngayon. If they did not set me up with this speed dating, wala sana ako ngayon sa posisyon ko! Pissed.

Hindi ko nalang sila pinansin since over the forty-five minutes, puro si Luca 'yung topic nila. Nakakaumay. May mga upcoming quizzes pa kami and stuff, I did not want to flunk.

"What happens during lunar eclipse?" Sandra asked out of the blue. Tanga? Hindi alam kung anong nangyayari? I think everyone knows in this planet how it freaking works.

I was about to answer when Noah spoke, "A lunar eclipse occurs when the Moon passes directly behind Earth and into its shadow. This can occur only when the Sun, Earth, and the Moon are aligned exactly or very closely so, with the planet in between. Hence, a lunar eclipse can occur only on the night of a full moon."

Wow ang talino. Mabibilib na sana ako but to my surprise, binasa niya lang 'yun sa google. Malapit na sana ako maniwala, e.

"Ang amazing naman ng moon. What a game changer," Sambit ni Sandra. "Mas nakaka-amaze na at one point, nagkita at naglinya ang Earth, Sun and Moon to make the Lunar Eclipse happen."

This was beginning to get emo. Allergic din ako sa mga emo stuff so I had to brush the topic away instantly.

Nagulat nalang ako when Noah began to shriek. Itong baklang 'to, nagiging baliw na. "What happened? Nakakahiya ka."

"They're here!" Sabi niya as he was covering his mouth, suppressing his excitement. "Sino? May artista?"

Sandra and I looked at where Noah was looking and saw Luca and Jacob at the entrance. Oh god, ano nanamang pasabog ito? Are we that close now para mag-hangout kami?

"Here guys," Noah was waving his hand high up, enough na para makita nila Luca. "I am glad you replied sa text ko."

I was not happy with what I was seeing. Pumunta kami dito para mag-aral, hindi para makipagchikahan. I pulled Noah's ear and binira siya papunta sa corner.

"What the f-uck, Theseus? Bakit nandito sila?" I said as I was whispering loudly. "They wanted to study with us. I can't decline their suggestion, they're too hot."

I groaned in disappointment. I just have to deal with this or ako mismo ang aalis if they get too noisy.

Bumalik na kami sa upuan and Noah kept smiling like an idiot. Para walang nangyari, parang hindi siya nasaktan sa ginawa ko. Sobrang pacute talaga sa mga guys

"So, what are we going to study first?" Jacob asked as he took a sip in his matcha green tea. "Calculus. That subject is a pain in the ass."

I scoffed. Sobrang dali lang ng Calculus. Overreacting si Sandra. Magsosolve ka lang and substitute, that's it. You're given formulas tapos paglalaruan mo lang yun until you get the perfect match for your values.

"Wow, ang tali-talino talaga ng friend natin, Noe." Sandra said laughing. "Obviously, top student sa buong school. Tinutulugan niya lang 'yang mga exams na yan."

Susumbatan ko na sana si Sandra and Noah when Luca interjected, "Turn on."

Nag-apir naman silang apat with what Luca said. Ako? I was super annoyed. May pa turn on turn on pa siya, basagin ko kaya mukha niya. Hindi ko sila pinansin and continued reading.
