Dear Diary, I'm the only kid on Earth, but it's not half bad. Now mom can't ground me, or stop me from watching TV.
Oh wait, I forgot. There's no electricity. That's why I live in the library now. I'm never far away from a good book, the only source of entertainment left.
I mostly read farming books, now that I need to grow my own food. I already grow several vegetables, and some will be ready before my current supply goes stale.
Gosh, that comet really ruined things for humanity. Everyone gone—well, that's the way things are, I guess.
I might visit the comet's crater someday. Once I learn how to drive.
And that, my loyal diary, is today's thoughts in a nutshell. Things aren't too great, but it could be worse.
Great! I stepped on another body. I have got to clean these things up.
