"Maya, how do you know if you're in love?"
"What? Riles.... Why?"
"I just-"
"Don't you know? The thing you felt with Luc- wait haven't...?"
"Maya, have you?"
"Riley I... I don't know"
"Do you feel it now?"
"Don't you think is too soon?
"Peaches you've been dating long enough to know something"
"I guess"
"Do you like Josh?"
"Of course I like him.."
"Do you love him?"
My question caught her by surprise
"Riley why do you want to know that?"
"Please Maya I just want to know"
"Look, when you are in love... love ...it feels like home, no matter where you are you feel safe, it feels -" She laughs sadly
"I can't believe I'm saying this.... but it feels like rainbows , sunshine and happiness , wrapped around cotton candy, and...and...I "
"Do you feel like that when you are with Josh?"
Her eyes widen
"Uh, um Riley, y-yeah, how else would I know how it feels?"
I look at her
"That's nice peaches" My voice cracks
"Yeah"
Maya's P.O.V
Can't you see I'm in love with you!
I feel those things because of you

I'm screaming inside
But she can't look through me
she doesn't even feel a bit of those things for me
Has she started feeling that for Justin, I think it's too soon but that fake perfect boy is charming and I guess lovable
The thing is she needs to be happy , her feelings matter too much to even try to tell her the truth , if she's happy I'm happy and I'm letting Justin be the cause, I can wait all my life for her but why would I do that? She doesn't want time
It hurts but I can live knowing she's okay

But I made my decision and I'm going to move on , it's not too hard to love Josh he's great
