Fun day

Riley's P.O.V

In two days we start school, so mom and dad let us stay awake for as long as we want  today.

We are going to watch movies, play , talk to Ava , paint each others faces , etc , aaah ,and most important EAT snacks.

Auggie has helped me a lot with my feelings, I never imagined him supporting me that way, but he does and he's the best at it.

Maya hasn't called or texted

I need her

I love her

I called uncle Shawn, and he said Maya would call later, but she never did

Maybe Josh has replaced me

Why?

I don't get it, he rejected her for so long and when he found out that she "liked" Lucas , all of a sudden he likes her.

But I think Josh will give her a wonderful future, that's all Maya wanted, a family

What will I give to her?

I was dumb for not realizing it earlier , maybe things would've been different.

"Riley!" Auggie snaps me out of my thoughts

"Whatauwant" I playfully push him

"Are you aware of today?"

"Nope"

"Riley!" He jumps on the couch laughing

"I do" I scrunch my nose

He runs to his room and comes back with three large and heavy blankets

I laugh seeing his attempt to walk with all the weight

"Let me help you" I take all the blankets and throw them on the couch

"Time for snacks" I wiggle my eyebrows

"Yup!"

We have two popcorn bags
Three bags of chips
Peanuts
A bowl of fruit (yeah ..We like it...Mom made us eat it)
Candies
And soda

"What movie should we watch first?"

"Zootopia!" Auggie smiled

"I love it!" I squealed

"I know you do" He puts on the movie

1 hour and 50 minutes later

"It was amazing!" I giggle

He nods "Now what?"

"Should we call Ava before she goes to sleep"

"My wife always has time for me ...Well when she is available " Auggie laughs at the last part

I laugh

I take my phone out and hand it to Auggie

"Auggie!" I hear Ava

"Hey Ava" I peek

"Oh hey Riley!" Ava grins

"What are you doing?" Auggie asks her

"Nothing much, just watching tv and eating cheese, which reminds me of you" She pouts

Auggie smiles and blows a kiss

I smile, imaging Maya  with me

After 10 minutes they end the call and Auggie and I go back to watching movies and eating

I get out the face paint and Auggie paints on me a purple cat and I paint on him half side a cheese and in the other Barry the bear

We laugh seeing our finished product

"You and Maya really know me" I laugh at the cat

"Seriously" He snorts pointing at Barry

"I haven't forgotten it....But I forgive you...For eating him!"  I glare and laugh

"Ohh no" He rolls his eyes playfully
........
"Tag!" Auggie runs away

"Oh I see" I grin and run after him

Soon the room fills with laughter and loud yelling :
"Tag! "

"Nope"

"You're never going to get me!"

"Here!"

"Got you!"

"I'm going to get you!
........
It was 1:00 a.m.

And we ate all the snacks and watched like 5 more movies

Auggie fell asleep

I carried Auggie to his room and placed him on the bed pulling his blankets close to him.

As I was walking out

"Riley" He whispered

"Goodnight Aug" I smile

"Can you tell me a story " He looks at me with his puppy eyes

How can I say no?

"Of course, which one do you want buddy?" I lay next to him

"I don't mind"

He snuggles close to me

"Okay..
There was a princess named Tate , she was looking for a soulmate to share her future kingdom, so she called all the young workers of the town , there was a boy with blonde hair and green eyes the popular kid of town, and indeed he was handsome , he was Troy . Next to him was kruter a skinny tall boy with crazy hair dressed differently .............
...........
................
And there was a figure with blonde long hair and .."

I stopped hearing Auggie snoring

I laugh to myself and kiss his forehead

"The story will continue" I whisper and walk to my room

This was a fun day

I'm so tired

I brush my teeth and wash my face

Then I plop to my bed and immediately fall asleep.
