"You know what?" I ask nervously

"About Riley" Farkle smiles

"What about her?"

"The triangle..."

"I don't like Lucas anymore!"

"You never did" Smackle looks at me

"The triangle was not about Lucas was it?" Farkle continues

I look down

"I needed to forget Josh , I thought Lucas was a nice guy and ..."

"Why Josh?"

"What?"

"Why do you like Josh?"

Yeah.......Why do I like Josh anyway?

"Um, I-I. He is a great guy"

"That's it?"

"No I mean... he is cute "

"Describe Riley" Farkle glances at Smackle

"Um..Okay,  Riley is the sweetest person you'll ever meet, she's beautiful, chocolate eyes, brunette curls, tall...Very tall, klutzy ( I laugh) her eyebrows are amazing, she is a energetic ball of sunshine that sees the best in everyone, Hopes for a lot of things (I giggle) Oh! And her dimples, I love her dimples...Yeah I know that I have dimples too but I love hers " I want to say more but Farkle interrupts me

"Okay, okay, that's enough!" He laughs along with Smackle

"Why is it easier for you to say the things you love about Riley ?"

"I've known her for a long time"

"Who matters most, Riley or Josh"

"Riley" I reply with no hesitation

"What about when you get married to Josh?"

"My relationship with Riley is stronger or I don't know what will happen when Josh and I know each other more  "

"But right now you don't feel that way   "

"Farkle..You said ,it was because our relationships were new our friends were going to matter most"

"And I was right"

"Maya...When I said that, I wasn't talking about the two of you"

"We see the look on your eyes every time she's near , and that was  all the time  because she was always with you"

I laugh sadly

"Maya, best friends don't act like that, well..Most of best friends tease and joke , sure they are sweet with each other but you two are too much all hearty eyes" Farkle calmly says

"Indeed" Smackle folds her hands

"Maya be honest and give yourself the opportunity to be happy " Farkle looks at me again

"Remember we are here for you,
The statistics show....Well a lot of people are rude..I know it's scary but I also know you've got a big family that loves you" Wow she actually said something sweet! And nothing with science

"Thanks Smackle" I squeeze her hand

"So when ever you are ready to talk about it we are here for you" Farkle  smiles

"Okay, I need to clear my mind" I say breathing heavily

They nod

"I'm ready"

"Are you sure "

"No, but I need to"

Both are holding my hand

" I felt different when she started liking Lucas , but I thought it was normal she's my best friend and Lucas was taking away our time ...Then  Josh came and he looked a lot like her...And that's why I started liking him...I didn't even know it until we went to the ski lodge that same day I realized the triangle wasn't about Lucas...And that my feelings towards Riley were changing from seeing her as my sister to seeing her as...My..." I trail off

"You love her " Farkle nodded

"I...I "

"Do" Farkle completed

And Smackle laughed

"He always knows the ending" She looks at him and smirks "Sooo Lucas is available!!" Then wiggles her eyebrows

"Smackle! Inner voice"

"Oh! Sorry" She does a weird victory dance with her hands....

We laugh at her

After we settled down Farkle proceeds

"Yeah I know pretty much every ending ,but..I want you to say it, and not because I'm telling you, I want you to say it because you feel it"
