(Y/N POV)

"Loki, are you here?" I say knocking on the door that leads to his bedroom. I hear shuffling but no answer.

"Loki can I please come in?" I say and once again knock on the door

"Come in" A voice said which I noticed very quickly, was Loki's.

I open the door carefully and examine the room trying to find Loki. My eyes stop when I see him curled up in a ball on his bed.

"Loki whats wrong?" I say as I run up to him checking if hes hurt

"Everyone has forgotten..."He says and looks at me "Please tell me you haven't forgotten what today is" He says tears almost falling from his eyes

"Loki I have not forgotten do not worry, I came here to say happy birthday" I say and hug him tightly

"It hasn't been such a happy birthday"He says and hugs back burying his head into my neck

"Has Thor not wished you a happy birthday atleast?" I ask him, playing with his hair a bit.

"He is off with Jane on Midgard"

"What? Are you kidding me not even your own brother has said anything on your birthday!" I say raising my voice a bit but I see Loki flinch.

"Im sorry Loki...it just makes me mad by the fact that not even your brother has said happy birthday to you" I say and hold his cheeks with my hand

"Nobody has said anything, you are the first too"

"Oh Loki, do not worry I will try and make this a good day for you, what would you like to do?" I ask

"Stay with me"He says

"What?"

"Please just stay with me for a bit longer here, I do not want to leave right now"

"Alright as you wish, but first if we are going to stay here let's atleast lay on the bed and get comfortable, don't you think that's a good idea?"

"Yes it is, please come here" He says and pats the side beside him

I take off my boots and climb in. Immediately as I do he clings to me, holding on to my waist tightly and burying his face into my neck. I run my hands through his hair seemingly calming him down

"Thank you (Y/N)" He mumbles

"For what, I haven't done much" I say and chuckle

"You have done much for me, I am so very gratefull. When everyone hated me you didn't and you were always at my side...Thank you" He says and at when he finishes talking he looks at me

"I love you" He mumbles and grabs my cheeks kissing me passionately. We pull apart for air a few minutes after but he still places light pecks on my lips not wanting to stop kissing me

"I love you too" I say and smile at him

"You make me so happy, this is the best birthday present ever" He says and looks at me with so much love in his eyes. I couldn't even believe it. He loved me as much as I loved him. I couldn't take it much longer and I kissed him again...lets just say it got a bit heated

Yeah...defenetly the best birthday present ever
