(Y/N POV)

I was in sitting under a tree in the gardens reading a book when Loki comes behind me and grabs my shoulders. I stiffen and was about to throw a punch at him but I stopped myself. I put my bookmark back in and marked my page. I took my book and hit him in the shoulder when he sat down beside me.

"Don't do that"I say and open my book again

"You know I can't resist it (Y/N)"He says and looks at the book im reading"What are you reading?"He asks

"Something I picked up from the library from the palace"I say and turn the page not taking my eyes off from the book. It was getting really good."I see you've got a book in your hand also is it yours? It seems new"I ask

"It is,I just got it I wanted to read something new"He says and smiles at me. From the corner of my eye I see him open the book and start reading so I don't say anything else.

We sit in silence and just read for a while. Until a loud booming voive interrupts us.

"Brother, lady (Y/N)! How are you today!" Thor says as he walks up to us smiling

"Good I was just reading"I say and look up at him and smile back. After that I look back at my book and keep reading

"Brother how are you? Mother said that we have to go in soon!" He tells Loki

"Can you ask her if I can stay here for a while more?"

"Okay I will go do that now!" Thor says and walks away

Loki huphs and looks around the garden.

"You okay?"I ask him and put a hand on his shoulder

"Yes its just that I dont spend as much time with you anymore, I dont want you forgetting about me...your my only friend"He says and looks at his hands,fidgetting with them.

"Its going to be okay I will never forget you thats for sure, how could I forget you?" I say and hug him

He tenses up a bit but hugs me back. I know he doesn't like physical contact that much so I didn't do it for too long.

"You always know what to say (Y/N)"

"That is true but it must be because I have known you for so long"I say and smile

I see Thor start to come back over to us

"Brother I asked mother butbshe said that we have to go inside she needs us for something"He says

"Fine, see you later (Y/N)"Loki says as he takes his book and stands up"Bye" He says and looks at me

"Bye"I say
